our starting cornerback now that Goodman is gone? What role Do you think he will play in 2009?:crazy:
 
no we need to sign or draft another CB Jason Allen has all the skills in the world to do it but he is just to lazy

Most people will tell you "no", but in the end it's all a matter of the Trifecta thinks. Jason Allen has skills, but he's also dumb as a stump.
 
I fully expect us to sign another CB in the next week or so. I'm hoping it's Leigh Bodden.
 
I don't mind Jason Allen as nickel, but I couldn't stand watching him out there full-time. I'm not opposed to taking Alphonso Smith with our 1st pick even though his combine numbers weren't mind blowing. Every mock I've seen still has him on the board at our pick, although I don't see us drafting a CB until later in the draft ala WR (Parcells' history).
 
I think yes. He went through TC last yer as a FS with Goodman as the established starter at CB and got switched after the first game. Now that he will have a full season and TC at corner, he should be able to do great. He showed some ability last year except the second NE game (even then he did, was just one on one against a HOF receiver) and with more development he could be good.
 
Was it a first round pick we wasted on Jason Allen? 17th pick IIRC? Was that another great pick under the Saban Administration
 
If we have a loaded secondary, I'm ok with JA. Unfortunately, thats not the case.

We need help.
