Re-watched the game. Although Jeno James looks lean and mean and in great shape... he whiffed on a bunch of arm-blocks or pushes. He appeared to have about the same arm strength as Nick Saban.

With good positioning he was able to block effectively with his body and shoulders, but it appeared he has no arm strength at all.

Maybe it's time to replace him with Damion McIntosh. Seriously, if he's injured somebody/anybody needs to replace him.

The Oline was pretty bad that game. It appeared to be a lot of things but mostly new guys not used to offense or eachother. Offense is close to what Pepp ran in Minn. but factor his he is coming off a horrendous knee injury and not quite 100% trusting of his knee he is atleast picking up the offense faster than a lot of other QB's would.

The Oline is very new with a couple of exceptions and still getting used to eachother but the timing of Pepp and his receivers is what hurts as well. Pepp just needs to throw the ball away and hang in there hoping for a miracle. Once that happens the oline will look great. Pepp had more than enough time on a lot of plays but didn't want to run, which the old Pepp would have, but instead just waiting for someone to get open. But when you don't have enough confidence in your knee you have a harder time throwing on the run with a lot of accuracy. There were 2 plays in the Buffalo game that I thought he was REALLY hurt and I was hoping he would come out but he stayed in. Think it was the same drive as the pick. He was timid.

Bennie getting hurt might be a blessing and I hate saying it sucks he is out for the year, but he was getting torched. Maybe if the next guy in he will do a little better and atleast not have to be helped out quite as often. The run blocking was outstanding so all in all the oline might not be as bad as it looked watching it a second time. I didn't hear Jeno's name much which is usually a good sign of an oline, but you can't hold what runs right by you so that could be it as well. Saw a lot of positives watching the game a second time and the Pepp pick and Mare's miss is why we lost. Buffalo played OK and that was enough to win this game. Their offense hasn't scored 20 points in a game yet and their defense will wear down, write it down they will fade midway through the season. Peak in Sept/Oct fade late, kinda like we did before last year.

I noticed that too, I thought he was going to run it, but he hesitated and tried to make a play with his arm. He got one look at those LBs and panicked.

Jeno isn't hurt, we would have heard about it by now.

Blame it on Duante!

If it appeard I was ripping Daunte, no way. He is under a year from practically have his leg ripped off. I am just saying he's new, most the oline is new and that doesn't gell very fast and certainly not 2 games into the season. As Dauntes knee get stronger and his timing with WR's becomes better the oline will look better. I respect Daunte wanting to be on the field and love seeing him out there but he's not close to 100%. Not throwing the ball away forcing the oline to hold their guy a lot longer than they should have to. Their is also a timing issue W/ Pepp and WR's gelling and getting a feel for eachother than will improve over time.

All I was saying was that the oline appeared to be a lot better after watching the game a second time. Believe me I didn't want to watch it twice after seeing it the first time, but it appeared timing in the offense in general is what made the offense appear worse than it really was. They'll get better every week so I can't see why so many people are calling for players or coaches to be knocked off. Not a real fan of Mularky, but his play calling wasn't a bad as it looked the first time either. Miami should be ok after a couple of more games, much to early to call this year a failure. Could be alot of fun if they can stay relatively injury fee.

No no relax lol... I was just being sarcastic.

i hate the way athletes are paid. they should get paid based on their performance, and the little things they should be doing when they dont get the ball.

when jeno was signed as a FA from the Panthers, he was considered an excellent run blocker. he picked up around 25 mil. if he's not good and we know shelton's not good that's the left side and right guard's a mystery, and hadnot's been mediocre at center. whoa, i think we figured out a problem area. ot can't be the coaching, the coaches are great... just ask them.

If James was based on perfromance he would be making the minimum.
