i sure think so!!

he reminds me of a young Ricky Williams looking better as the games goes!!

Pats Oline isnt spectacular and hes looking great!! I think he gets the Edge on Colston for ROTY!!!!


i also think he will be a better pro than Ronnie!!

Moroney has sure looked better so far, better lets see how Moroney looks with this line.
 
He looks good. Pretty goodd situation to go to though. The most successful frnachise in the NFL over the past 5 years with a veteran RB to split carries with is a little more attractive than a 4-12 team with no O-line, QB or WR's that can catch.

Maroney vs Denver and Miami this year:

30 carries 56 yards.

his yards have come against buffalo twice, the jets and the bengals, all of which are in the bottom half of the league in rush defense.

ronnie would look alot better running in the pats offense that much is sure.

however, all things considered i don't think you can say either way at this point. i would call them even. too bad ronnie was #2 overall and maroney went at the bottom of the 1st.

Like always the Pats know how to draft!! bro i cant believe you asked this question i was thinking the same exact thing during the game he looks alot quicker than ronnie, unfortunately i think ronnie is more of a complement back a power runner not an everydown type of guy

Maroney looks like more of a natural runner with much better vision. BUT, you can't compare them very well because of quality of teammates. I'm disapointed in the production of Ronnie but how do you expect him to perform with this line, no QB threat, and WR/TE that can't catch. Not to mention the coaches calling his number 12-15 times a game. If anything, Ronnie strikes me as the type of back that gets better as the game goes on because of his strength and power. Unfortunately for Ronnie, it looks like it will be some time before the rest of the team (and coaching) catches up.
 
I'm both surprised and impressed by what I've read in this thread.
 
Ummm, No! I think the Patriots team right now is better than the Dolphins by five games, one team leads the division and the other is in the cellar. If you were a running-back, which team would you rather play for?
 
he is v ery good. i gotta say, he is a bit better hten RB. his vision and speed power combo is very good. he has a 2nd gear that i dont see wiht ronnie brown
