I know many of you it's past and to be got over.
He is definitely a good player, but I really think he happen to be right place at right time.
Maybe it's just sour grape, but I am really curious whether he is ALL PRO.

Yes according to the AP he was 1st team ALL PRO last year. Whether it was a fluke year or he regressed this year he would still be an All Pro for the 2019 season. I think it's time to....

Is he a good player yes. But he wasn’t when he was here.

We basically trade him for Noah Igbinoghe. Yes the actual pick we used from the Steelers we got Austin Jackson. But if we did not have the Steelers pick we would have needed a OT more than another CB. We would of most likely had to trade up to get a quality tackle with Houston’s pick.

Is he a good player yes. But he is not better than what we have seen out of Austin and Noah. IMO they made the right move which allowed the dolphins to fill more pressing needs the following year. Props to the FO for looking to the future.

Honestly we aren't hurting without him here on defense, I'm over him already other then having some sour grapes about the way he went about things with the organization and frankly its going to bite him in the azz soon..
We have a young ascending roster, Pittsburgh has an older roster and once big ben is gone they are gonna be struggling again and we all know how Minkah behaves in that type of situation.

Bobby McCain, Eric Rowe and Perry make me miss him a HELL OF ALOT less..

Ehh we will see over these next few years. The big thing is that we drafted Austin Jackson who has flashed serious potential protecting our franchise qb. The success of the Fitzpatrick trade for Pittsburgh will be if they win the super bowl. If they fail at that goal, the trade was a huge mistake. Their window is nearly closed and another early playoff exit could doom them. Having all pros are nice buy you need to accomplish something with them.

He's not a Miami Dolphins player so it doesn't matter.

He's got this knack for always being in the right place at the right time. I'm not really sure if he has any physical qualities that separates him from others at that position but this ability, which is probably what you have to call it rather than dumb luck, of knowing where to be on the field is priceless. wish he had shown more of that when he was with us, he's laughing now and so are the Steelers as they fleeced us in that trade in the end.

He's another one that got away, he could have been a huge part of this D that Flores is putting together, it's a real shame he didn't have the patience to stick with us and also that in the end he gets to come out of his petulance with the best deal, he could very well be on an undeafeted SB winning team and is due a huge pay day next year.

Minkah is a good player. He's been making plays lately for Pittsburgh. The trade has turned out to be a boon for the Steelers. He settled in and has been the glue to that Pittsburgh defense. I think he's proving is worth.

But it doesn't mean I'm a happy Dolphins fan about what went down with him, in Miami. But I, do wish him well.

Minkah rode a hot streak last year so his stats were a bit misleading and he is arguably the 5th or 6th most important defender for Pittsburgh when everybody is healthy.

Now does that make him a bad player? Not at all. He cannot tackle worth a damn and at times this year he has been picked on in but thats Pitts secondary as a whole. He does does do a good job as a centerfold safety on throws in front of him.

So do I think he keeps up the level of play he showed last year? No. Do I think he works better in the Steelers D than in our D? Yes

He’s gonna be a top 5 FS in the NFL for a long time. It was a good trade for the Steelers but also not a bad trade for us as we were in the middle of the reset...

If Miami plays its cards right, we’ll have the majority of our starting offense on rookie contracts for 3+ years... in NFL time, that’s A LOT.

that trade, and not having to give him a big contract in Tua’s prime, is part of that.

Wished he would have worked here, but it will honestly end up being a good trade for both parties.
