i have a question for this board - you are the experts regarding Nick Saban - is he unhappy? The reason i ask is that on the Alabama boards the fans are saying that NS is unhappy and wants to get back to college. I call bs due to the fact that this is the dolphins and why would he want to go to a college in turmoil like bama. Being a diehard lsu fan it is totally crazy.

I can't see Nick Saban leaving the pros for a college team. thanks.

He sure was looking unhappy for a while there. Winning cures alot of ills. But I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if he were to go back to college.

Dolphins have won 3 in a row now. I think he is happy. Now if you would have asked say about a month ago, then it would be a different answer. In fact, there were some bogus reports that he was unhappy and wanted out. He said himself at a radio show that he wasn't going anywhere.

None of us are the experts on Nick, despite what some people here may say. If your looking for experts, you'll have to ask him!

I believe he desires to continue atleast the next decade or two in the NFL. I think he aspires to become king of the "proffesional" league. :)

i don't think he is leaving anytime soon...rumors were circling during the losing streak for him to go to MSU but it's just a rumor guys....thats what the media does

Nick is 55 I believe, I don't think he took this job expecting it to be a cake walk and I think he'll coach here till he retires.

nick saban has always been a 'pro-style' coach....if he leaves here hes not goign back to college

i just dont see what realizing and accepting your
true talent is a bad thing or "crazy"?

sabans "talents" are much more suited for the
college game, namely recruiting. i can see
why he would want to do that after realizing
he is not good at the nfl draft.

the miami huricanes job, should it come open
would be very intriguing to nick because he
could go back to college and be making some
fairly competative bucks. he would get the
canes job over spurier in a heartbeat!!

plus, he wouldnt have to uproot his family
again.

GO FOR IT NICK!!!!!

Based upon past situations having opportunites for chicago, new york, atlanta and others. i think he was waiting for the best possible franchise in miami.

Nick Saban is success driven. Absolutely, he has been unhappy. Nick will not give up. He is not going anywhere. If you have not read his book yet, you should. It gives good insight as to his beliefs and how he runs things.

And then you still won't know, because he'll probably tell you what you want to hear, not what is true. Just have to wait and see.

I'm a Bama alum.
Last night a Bama rep had dinner w Jimmy Sexton(Saban's agent but also Steve Spurrior's agent)so
hold on something is going to happen at Bama in
the next few days.I want Bama to have a new great coach
but I don't want Saban to leave my Dolphins.
