Mularkey is not a great play caller, he is not a good play caller, he is a weak play caller IMO.:dolphins:

yea he ****in sucks when ronnie brown wag getting hot he took him out of (u dont do that!!!!!!)the game he jus calls so many bad plays its hard to cope with

Any coordinator is going to struggle some in his first year...

It is just a given. Yes it is Linehan's offense so to speak, but Mularky is still a new person to get used to in regard to tendencies.

Well I am just a first year fan... but I heard a lot of Bills fans complaining about this very thing and it had me a little worried.

Their main complaint seemed to be that Mularkey tries to outthink the opposing defense. When you have the talent on offense that Miami has you have to just line up and beat the other team play after play.

Tricks are for kids...

He is no worse than Foerster but I would rather have Chan Gailey or Norv Turner, let alone Linehan...

A. Foerster.

B. Everyone flamed Linehan until we won games. He is working in a system that is not his own, give him time.

Remind the Miami Dolphins why they should listen to your opinion...

I haven't went back and looked yet, but how many times did we run the ball on 1st down???. I can only remember once when we passed it. I am sure there are more times but my point is we ran too much on 1st down and then almost always ran to the right. I knew what play was coming from 1600 miles away. Not good.

I don't know if it's Mularky's play calling or Daunte's execution.

Mularkey certainly had the rep at Buffalo of being way too conservative and calling short plays, thus eliminating the deep threat receivers from the game plan - which also had the effect of the opposing defenses stacking the line to eliminate the run.

Sounds awfully familiar to what we are seeing right now.

On the flip side - he could be calling deep plays, but since the line can't block, and Daunte can't move, the Ds are blitzing hard and often thus forcing short dumps or sacks.

Pick your poison, but either one sucks.

Do you not remember Foerster or Kippy Brown?

So, do you think everything he's done as an OC it Pitt was BS because of 3 games here?

yesterday the play calling was a lil better. the big problem i am seeing is that as soon as we get a negative play we are gonna pass pass pass. sometimes u need to go right back to the run to setup a better down next time. running on first down was something i liked yesterday. execution is a huge problem right now. if we can lose the bad penalties and the busted plays we could be a very good team. seems as if everytime we get into a rythem we shoot ourselves in the foot.

one thing i can not stand tho is...WHY THE HELL DO WE LINE UP 4 WIDE EVERYTIME WE GET IN THE REDZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kippy Brown was probably the worst OC ever, followed by Forester. Yikes.
