Is OL complete?

Maybe Jerry can take over the spot that Ireland originally drafted him to play, LG, and they kick Incog over to RG?. Really don't see the hype about Murtha, dude is made of a glass and you can't help the team when you're on IR all the time. I don't see Miami signing Scott with Murtha, Garner, Hicks and Jerry on the team.

Could see us having a rookie start at one of the guard positions and Hicks at the other. Mobility and timing is key and I could see Philbin going with new guys.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Zone is that the entire oline zone blocks. You only Zone block from the 'bubble' to the next man out towards the callside, and apply the Covered/Uncovered rule: If you're uncovered, you zone with the man next to you towards the call. If you're covered, you zone with the man next to you away from the call. If you're both covered.... Man block.

If there's no 'bubble' and everybody is covered, everybody Man or Drive blocks on IZ - Reach blocks on OZ.

If I had to make an educated guess . . . this will be the OLine (assuming we make no signifcant additions after the June 1st cuts or in FA):

LT - Long
LG - Murtha
OC - Pouncey
RG - Hicks
RT - Martin

This also assumes Jonathan Martin making an early successful transition to RT . . . if not, Murtha could man down the RT spot as well.

Garner will remain as Mr. versatile . . . a guy who can man all 5 spots.
Incognito gets cut
Jerry becomes the main interior backup
Cook is the backup at Center.
9th spot will be for a youngster who makes minimum money and will be inactive on gamedays.
