Is opening against he Pats a good thing???

We are gonna kick their mutha effin assses!!!!!!!!! Thats what i believe :ninja:

Is this good for us?? Is this a way to catch a team off guard? At home, season opener, no one is clicking on all cylinders yet. Realistically, we should get beat. Do you like the idea of opening versus Pats or not?? Discuss!!!

This early game favors the Patriots. Defenses are usually ahead of offenses, the teams are coming off a shortened mini-camps, and the Dolphins have a new OC and new offense. The Patriots are returning with the same coaching staff, same offense, and same pro-bowl QB. These factors favor the Patriots, but at least the game is at home in the heat, which is about the only plus i see for the Phins.

Its not a good thing its a GREAT thing. Can't think of a better way to show ppl we not playing no games this year. I have to admit they have the advantage but save me the they are the same team iissshh. They made changes in the offseason just like everyone else. MIA don't breed cowards no fan should be saying we losing Game 1. Bring it on Pats.

Go Phins!

Bush will be a huge factor in the NE game I think. I don't know how much of a factor he's going to be all year but I have this good feeling Bush is going to be big for us in the AFCE games. We finally may have that "X factor" type player that can get us that 1 or 2 plays we need to get back in it or just amped up. NE TE's are probably going to kill us though.

its not the same defense of the 2010 pats either. this is the same offense that scored like 80 points on us last year with prob some new weapons . we probably have no one that can handle Welker much like bush for us but they have better coaching and a better oline as well as qb.

I like the Corners for us though, Jimmy Wilson is a good young talent that could "hopefully" match up well with welker and his versatility. Patriots will try to dink and dunk on us like they always do. but the addition of yet more talented young corners, two of which have two years under their belts now should help. Burnett to go with Dansby GREATLY helps our passing coverage in our line backing corps.

The only thing that worry's me is how our run defense will shore up, the dolphins are going to need to gang tackle if they don't pick that up. They did great against Carolina and HORRIBLE against Michael Turner.

But the Defense should build under Nolan and a slightly more talented Defense.
