Is our O-Line improved?

LOL... OMG... you are making my point and you don't even know it.

Eich had good PFF ratings... for a reserve,

Which he is.

Heh!

80 would be good for a reserve, 107 is not.

You still have 0 point as my original post was talking about starters in which we in fact did have 2 bottom 5 starters at guard last year which is why I mentioned this year should be better simply with the loss of Eich and Jones in the starting lineup.

Congrats on not paying attention, claiming I’m wrong then completely admitting you’re lost and don’t have a clue what’s going on.

Eich's PFF ratings (which are not the end all) are higher than almost all of the reserves that they've rated.

It doesn't mean he's good. Good lord... no one.... NO ONE said he's good.

He's better than most reserve linemen.

...and as I pointed out; he costs us vet minimum vs. the cap.

vet minimum... unguaranteed.

Geez guys... grow up.

in a perfect world, if our Oline is healthy all season, do we have a very good oline?

Jackson, Savaiinaea, Brewer, Daniels, Paul
No way to know right now. Daniels is new to the unit, Paul was essentially learning on the job last year and while he didn't flop, he didn't really kill it, and Savi hasn't played an NFL down yet. Brewer should be great, and Jackson's coming back from an injury, so there is a LOT of unknown. If healthy, you'd have to think it'd be an improvement...but once they lose a starter or two, all hell will break loose.

His contract is fully guaranteed as you continue to be wrong on every single post.

Okay great Mrs Eichenberg, Liam is one of the best worst backups in the league. That doesn’t change the fact that you completely altered the topic to try to make a point that your son isn’t the total worst guard in the league. The original comment was always about starters and remains to be true, your son Liam and Jones were bottom 5 starters thus replacing them should make the line significantly better.

Ok-so now you are finally admitting that Eich is not good. Thank you for finally coming clean. Then the next question is why on God's green earth should the Dolphins employ someone that is not good?!!!! This is the mentality that has made the Fins the longest running team to not win a playoff game. Backup players matter, as at some point they will be thrust into action. See Tim Boyle as another reminder.

McD should cut Eich immediately to make a statement. Like it or not he is the poster boy for the Fins inadequacy. Cutting him would turn the page and allow the team to distance themselves from past failures. He is nothing but a pariah at this point.

He’s an injury away from starting and just signed a one-year deal. He’s not going anywhere soon.

The upside is an OL that stays healthy and is playing its best football, at a totally adequate level, in Nov-Dec.

There is big risk. Daniels may not be ready. Eichenberg may start early. Daniels still needs to adjust to the scheme anyway. Ajax may get hurt again. JS is a rookie and may need to learn his job.

When Aaron Brewer is your anchor, well, it says something.

That said, if nobody gets hurt, you should be solid enough to be totally adequate in the operation of the offense.
Can you be just a bit more negative? Geesh...

This line if healthy looks competent. It's better than the two orange cones we had last year at Guard....

This is such an interesting debate.

107th ranked. There are 64 starters. This means at least 42 "reserves" were still better. 64/2= 32??? If you take away the 22 Guards who played minimal snaps, Eichenberg was only better then 7 flipping reserves.

So Eichenberg didn't even grade out as a top half of reserves. Eichenberg was horrible, I have no clue why there is any attempt to defend him, even as a reserve. He stunk there too.

Could be worse. He could be Borom. Thank God we don't have that joker too. Oh.... Sh$$!!

Bingo!

Eichenberry was the starter most of the year last year until Wynn was finally ready to go a little at the end of the year. The numbers on him and his tape is not very good but he's what we had. Maybe his wife is a good "cook" for the OL?

Eichenberg should not be on this team. He needs to be coaching flag football for 8-year-old girls.

Don’t bother Brother. These guys won’t grow up. Eich is the object of wrath du jour, similar to AJ his first few years. He could walk on water and many brothers would complain he didn’t run on it. He is a decent backup in multiple positions on the line. A low cost utility player that every team needs. We all want him and the rest of the OL to improve. I’m hoping he can shut a few mouths this season.
