Is our running game gonna keep us out of the playoffs

I can see your new, but come on man. I would love to speak with your english teacher .

Any way, welcome to Finheaven. Make sure when you make a new thread you look through the forum to make sure it isn't something that has already been created. I know the grammar doesn't seem important, but it can really distract a reader. Just trying to help and again, welcome aboard!

As for the topic, it's all a matter of how long Ronnie is out. I think he will return for the New England game and if not, he'll be back for Buffalo. Jacksonville has a tough run D so we were already going to have to rely on Harrington any way. It should be a good game and I think we can survive just this one without Ronnie.

That could keep us out but how long is Ronnie out anyway but Morris is good he just fumbels alot.

Im not sure if that alone will keep us out of the playoffs, but I dont think the running game with Ronnie would have single handedly won the game against JAX this week anyways.

But if Joey fails to hit some plays and our defense collapses... that will definitely keep us out!

I am one of the few people who thinks Sammy Morris will do good with Brown out and he will more then likely be back for the NE game.

Our 1-6 start will keep us out, now I personally believe that the 1-6 start is greatly attributed to our running game, so I guess you could say yes. It should get a little better with S. Morris in there. 12 carries 91 yards, looks like a 1st rounder, too bad it's the numbers of the guy we're NOT paying a boatload of money to.

what is gunna keep us out of the playoffs is being in the afc.

Look who has come back out of his hole! So your latest statement is that Sammy is better than Ronnie correct?

I've just got to ask, did you watch the Chicago game?

i agree

no Morris is more than capable, if we miss the playoffs the running game won't be the reason

no that ronnie is injured are, are running backs good enough to help us win
The honest answer to your question is, our running backs are not good enough, to fill in for ronnie. Witness the fact that nick is pulling Cobbs up from the practice squad, and Nick has said that if Ronnie is out for any extended time "the team will explore other possiblities".In my opinion if we have to rely on Joey, to carry us to the playoffs, were in deep doodoo! Our backup running backs stink Sammy is not an every down back and either is minor. In fact in my opinion Minor is not to be used on any down period. His past performance as a starter would have earned him a swift kick to the curb if it wern't for his special teams play, and special teams is where he should stay. This is not John Madden football this is real life.We will need to explore other avenues if Ronnie Brown is down for any length of time.:dolphins:

First of all welcome aboard. secondly that is a very troubling question, reason being is that although jacksonville has a great run d we needed brown to continue to try to for a running game because if not they can keep concentrating on the pass and it never turns out good when the d knows what you are doing. But if we survive through Jacksonville and brown is back for new england we should be ok.

This is not an English forum. I can count quite a few errors in your post as well.
