Alot of people here were directing blame at Wannstedt for what happened with Ricky Williams. Some have said that as head coach he should be more "in touch" with his players and should be aware of what the players are doing. Some have blamed Wanny for not knowing about Ricky's lack of motivation to play football and his drug situation.

The similar thing has apparently happened to one of the great coaches in the NFL, Bill Parcells. How could be so unaware of what Quincy Carter (his projected starting QB) is doing outside of football? Hasn't he taught him to be a disciplined and dedicated player? This shows that it could happen to anyone.

Jerry Jones knew Qunicy had a drug problem 2 years ago. Told him if this continues he will cut him. Obviously today was the straw that broke the camels back. This isn't a Parcells issue but a Jerry Jones issue.

No, no..I'm only talking about the Ricky situation..that's all. Some were blaming him for not making sure that Ricky was doing the right things. The same can be said about Parcells. He is the HC.
