Is Pat Laird Our Burkhead?

i will say, last night was the first ive seen of him, and i did like what i saw and would love to see more. I believe he is an undrafted college walk-on if i remember correctly from what a read a few days ago.

Guys like him dont take anything for granted. Even if he doesnt get alot of carries he will be a big special teams contributor due to effort alone.

I like him a lot. If they try and stash him on the PS I think he gets picked up. I think in the right offense other than on the Dolphins he could do well.

I've been rooting for Laird. Walk on, turns heads in the pros … it's like Rudy all over again. And yeah, Laird does seem like one of those little go-go gadget guys Belichick always seems to find … so maybe he makes it.
 
Why not let him do punt returns instead of Preston? With his vision he might be quite good.
 
Any relation to former Colts S Bruce Laird? I noticed he wears the same number.

Correction - Laird wore 40. Question remains though. Grandson?
