he isnt even active. We spent a high value draft pick for him and he isnt even dressed.

WTF is that?

Hartline picked well after Turner and he is playing and pushing to start.

Patrick Turner a bust for this regime at a time when we are in desperate need of a WR?

I think so. Look at Harline. He is contributing right now. Hmm.

He is definitely driving down Bust Ln. right now, but you really can't label him a bust after only 6 games. I think he will be a bust, however right now that is just an opinion and we need to give it time before it becomes a fact.

Only 53 will be suited up to play each week. By many accounts Turner was very impressive in TC- it's still way early to call him a bust. If he plays, which WR goes inactive? It wouldn't shock me to see Ginn given a break if he's mentally in a bad way now, but I don't know about that. I would like to see Turner on the field and given a chance to show what he can do.

We have to remember that the majority of receivers in the NFL don't blossom until their 2nd and 3rd year in the league. While there are exceptions, rookies usually don't produce much in their first year at the position.

no, hes 7 weeks into his NFL career... Chad Johnson, also a 3rd round pick, barely played his rookie year, and wasn't really on the field consistently until week 11

actually he was a 2nd round pick...

people here are just TOO impatient... people were labeling Henne a bust this pre-season, i mean be serious... you cant even label him as our future now, we have to give time and see what happens with every player to call them either good or bad

If the young guy is good he plays - see Brian Hartline.

Sadly, and no fan wants this, the only he may see field is if an injury happens.

He still learning the playbook. Relax man. Rookies usually need time to digest the extensive playbook of a NFL team. Hartline just has been able to pick up the playbook faster so he's seen the field. So...just give him time and at least let him get on the field.

what sucks is how all other rookie WR's this year have been kicking ***, of course we seem to get the 1 bust wr, but of course look at our greatest pick pat white, what a joke.

Give me a break. You will see him on the field, probably sooner than you think with the way Mrs. Ginn has been playing.

Does him a disservice to slap that label on him after 6 games, however my magic 8 ball is not too optimistic

See, I don't understand this. I know Sparano said this when he was asked but I don't get it.

hartline knows the playbook and he's a rookie. bess was a rookie last year and he knew the playbook. Shoot, every player on the team basically had a new playbook they had to learn and they got it.

Pat Turner comes from USC which is supposedly a program that is most similar to a NFL type offense. He doesn't know the playbook? I don't buy it.

OJ McDuffie did not catch a pass his first year just returned punts and you see how his carreer ended up and Mark Duper was not very active his first year either. BOTH first round draft picks.
