is Philbin a package deal with Flynn?

LOL @ Flynn....Are you guys serious? One or Two games and you want this guy that bad? Sounds like maybe some of you must be Jeff Ireland supporters.

could it be that this front office is in debate with Philbin on wether he can bring Flynn along with him?how better knows Flynn than Philbin.he has worked with him and has all the ins and outs on him.i would rather take a chance on Flynn than to give away far to much in order to move up in the draft.i think we go in FA and pick up a RG and perhaps a TE.then move on to the draft and go heavy on the D side of the ball ,with our first pick Upshaw.
so what do you guys think ,could this hire be based on the deal that Philibin brings Flynn with him?:D

Flynn's package will be the one that has the highest numbers after the $ sign

Frankly, I kinda want Philbin to help us get Flynn. On the surface, it seems like a nice solution to our problems. And it protects our draft picks to continue building in other areas of the team.

But my gut tells me there are 2 things wrong with the picture.

I think it's a fool's errand to believe Philbin will not be greatly affected by his recent tragedy. Honestly, taking on the most demanding job in your life should not follow one of the lowest moments in your personal life. While I believe people are capable of anything, we have to be realistic. The person we're interviewing is not the person in the interview. Sure, Dungy had great tragedy and continued coaching, but not for long. There's a difference in weathering a storm and trying to move during a storm. He might be the best pick, but I firmly believe he needs time to deal with other stresses in his life. They are more important.

Secondly, I believe if we were to get Flynn and Philbin, the organization as a whole would not be as invested in Flynn. In that, I mean from the GM on up. If we move up to take RGIII, for example, now everyone's jobs are more closely invested with the QB. That inspires everyone to help him succeed. But if Flynn implodes, realistically only Philbin is at risk. Ireland could wash his hands of it and distance himself.

For these reasons, I don't think Philbin is right for the job and I don't think Flynn will leverage the true investment this organization should make from top to bottom in order to make the QB position a real Franchise position.

Dan didn't just succeed because he was Dan. He succeeded because every move made by the organization was centered around Dan. That's the level of committment we need now.

JMHO

imo yes dan made it because he was Dan , i watched him while he was a rookie all the way up and he didnt have anything built around him he needed a RB and he didnt have any elite WRs duper and clayton was 5ft 4 and clayton 5ft 6 ? nothing special and Danny boy had to pass the ball to win every team knew it and still couldnt stop Dan it was all Dan nothing more nothing less , thats why he was an elite player all the QBs that has won a SB had weapons around the Danny boy had none but thats for another thread ,but imo it was all Dan Marino , thats why he was diff from all the others and why he is head and shoulders above the rest.

imo bro he did something special that Farve and Rodgers didnt do . yes i want him and i want us to start taking some chances on some players instead of takin what we think is BPA, BECAUSE IT HAS GOTTEN US NOWHERE THE LAST DECADE ,and flynn is better than anything that we can waste a 2nd or 3rd round pick on.yeah ssign me up.
