Is Pouncey really hurt?

I'm starting to wonder if Pouncey is actually hurt or if this is some sort of motivational thing Gase is doing. I remember hearing in preseason that he might be back for the 1st regular season game. This will be the 3rd game in a row he's out, and I haven't been the only one to notice our pass blocking is SIGNIFICANTLY better when Pouncey doesn't play Center. Same thing happened 2 years ago when Pouncey got hurt and we signed Satele. When Pouncey came back, he played Guard (!!). So, could Gase actually be holding Pouncey out until he's satisfied that he's playing up to snuff?

Meanwhile, Pouncey has been replaced with a guy that hadn't played Center since high school. Our pass blocking is MUCH improved, but our run blocking has suffered greatly.

Pouncey is injury prone and lazy. I don't care if this injury is legit i'm just glad I don't have to watch him play. We're giving valuable playing time to develop his superior replacement. The sooner we get his ludicrous contract and poisonous attempts at leadership off this team the better.
