Is Pouncey still supporting Henandez?

Here is my take...I'm surprised nobody has come to this conclusion yet...

What do we know?

1 - Pouncey has undying loyalty to Hernandez
This could be because hes unwilling to accept his friend is a killer and thinks he is truly innocent (plausible), OR because he is ensuring his own safety by showing support for him and making it clear he hasn't sold him out (as someone else pointed out), OR because he is a bad human being and has blind loyalty no matter what his friend has done.

2 - Pouncey has proven he is a moron, and wants to voice his ignorant opinions to the masses
-After the arrest of Hernandez, him and his brother took the "Free Hernandez" picture to show their support.
-We know he was in on the harassment of Martin, but when he posted a immature joke about hazing our new O-lineman (despite all that happened with Incog/Martin) that was a sick joke and his way of voicing displeasure with all that happened.

3 - Pouncey might be upset with all that has happened and being censored
- The NFL, the media, and everyone ripped on his locker room, coaches, teammates, and most importantly himself because of the Incog/Martin situation
- Pouncey is being censored, and cannot voice his opinion (twitter was deleted after the comment)
- Dolphins brass told him to quit and keep his opinions/comments out of the public eye

Conclusion from the above - Pouncey has a history of being a moron, and wanting to make his views public. He wanted the world to know he supports his friend Hernandez after the arrest with the Free Hernandez photo, and I think when he posted that twitter comment it was his way of saying "Bully Gate was BS, we didn't deserve this crap...and I'm going to joke about continuing to do it just to screw with people" ...now he cannot post his views or he could risk losing his job, and I'm certain that he must be upset with that fact.

So on to the issue - Hernandez just made national news again with the 2 NEW indictments of murder. This is even more upsetting for friends/family of Hernandez than the first murder indictment. The first murder indictment didn't have all the evidence necessary to truly screw Hernandez (he likely would have paid his way through the legal system and got off lucky...) but now he is truly ****ed. These new murder charges have absolutely buried him. All of the 80 articles of evidence that is being prepared to be used against him has him completely screwed for life. One can assume that Pouncey has to be really upset with this news, and wanted to voice his frustration and ignorance once again...BUT now he cannot do it. He knows that if he posts another picture, makes another comment, etc. he will make national news, or put his career in Miami in dire jeopardy.

So what does all this lead me to believe? The picture, which was taken inside Pounceys home, with Hernandez's jersey in the background, was STRATEGICALLY TAKEN ON PURPOSE!!I think he was utilizing a close friend (Miko) to voice his frustration with the very recent news that essentially means his friends life is over. He cant do it himself...or he risks his career. He wants to still be an idiot but he cant. He (very intelligently) placed his daughter as the center of attention in the photo to distract anybody from saying this was another stunt from him, or his friend.

He is sending a subtle message to the masses once again. Being an immature moron once again...but doing it in a way that won't risk his career. I give him a thumbs up for at least being smart about it this time....but I have 0 respect for him as a human being at this point.

Mark my words - when Hernandez's trial begins, and espectially when the sentence is made...we will see Pouncey do this in one form or another ONCE AGAIN....smh. I hope we get rid of him after next season.

I don't get this whole thing about "free time". Pretty sure Hernandez wasn't killing people while he was on the clock. The Justice System doesn't give a **** about free time or any other time. And neither does the NFL.

The point is he's a dumbass, and a flagrant one. And eventually being a dumbass catches up to most dumbasses. I'd rather not be on the hook for a big contract extension when the clock strikes 12, especially when he's leaving breadcrumbs the size of bowling balls.

You're probably right, I don't think Hernandez was murdering people on Sundays during halftime....however this is about a man hanging a jersey in his living room, not murdering people.....there is a difference, shockingly. Also, a lot of players in the NFL are dumbasses....they drink and drive, they assault their girlfriends, they drive around with guns, and a number of other things. I just don't consider this something worth ruffling my feathers...

IMO, I'd like to see the NFL get rid of every thug and criminal, and stop drafting them. I'd also like to see colleges stop giving them a free ride; or at least put them on a short leash... mess up and you're done. But, this will never happen because winning (and the money involved) is more important than character, and colleges will continue to cover up criminal acts by their players.

The man has the right to hang whatever he wants in his house, period. We can choose to agree or disagree with the message it sends but he has the right to do what he wants.

And that's exactly what we are doing. Of course he can hang whatever he wants and we can criticize him all we want. He doesn't like it? Maybe he should keep his friends from posting pics of the inside of his house on social media.

Hernandez is his friend and has been for a long time now. Wether your friends are right or wrong you still support them even if you don't condone what they do

I agree, if you commit a crime, much like a regular job you should be canned and done with the league. Kids idolize these people and some of them are just awful human beings.

I don't think Pouncey cares as much as the posters here on Finheaven and the even funnier thing is more than likely he'll never know that they cared. On that note I give this topic a sound meh.

If my friend did the things his did, I wouldn't be friends with them any longer. I've dropped friends for a hell of a lot less (selling drugs, etc). At some point, you have to come to terms with the fact that you and your friend chose different paths. It's part of growing up.

If whether players or people in the organization care about what is being discussed on here are a barometer of a good topic, we'd have nothing but ****ty topics (as would every other fansite on earth). I have no doubt he doesn't care. The world will keep turning. He'll keep being an idiot. People will continue discussing various on message boards, because that's what they are here for.

I'd be more worried about the gun running allegations and drug use than a framed jersey in a living room lol. Let's be frank here, Pouncey isn't a roll model citizen, he is into shady **** as well. I suggested we just flat out cut his ass but alas his playing abilities out weigh his social ineptitude, so I'm a nincompoop for suggesting it.

Kinda likethe rest of society huh? They're football players, nothing more. Channing Crowder said it best on the radio, athletes are no different from everyone else, they just get paid a lot of money to play a game. Most of these guys came from absolutely nothing one day and the next day they're millionaires, and I'm sure their instant fame and status didn't come with a "how to" manual.

This whole thing is something the sports writers and talking heads are glad for, to make a story, sell papers and drive up ratings. People are such sheep that they play right into it. Why should we care about this? I mean, really, why should we care? Is the jersey hanging in HIS HOUSE hurt anyone? I truly can't believe people are dumb enough to even let these writers make this a story.

Big Picture: personally I'm more concerned about Tsar Roger slapping some BS bullygate suspension on Pouncey while he's turning a blind eye to a stone cold junkie owner in Indy caught with a cache of illegal drugs and very little transparency regarding alleged "rehab," who's not only permitted to attend The Owner Meeting but also to pitch for another Superbowl.
