Is Pouncey still supporting Henandez?

Exactly. It's part of a pattern of behavior that doesn't seem likely to change. The question is are we keeping him here until his rookie deal runs out or are we gonna give him an extension and have to live with this kind of crap until it finally does catch up with him? This is just another piece of evidence against keeping him around any longer than we have to.

hopefully the former. run with Pouncey until the rookie contract is up and find a replacement for 2016, at the very latest.

I have many friends who are Jets fans. They are good people who just don't know any better and so I would delete the Jets fans from your list. However, the remainder seems pretty accurate.
BTW - I'm Jewish and my feelings for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are equivalent to my feelings for Adolph Hitler.

I think it may be time to reevaluate your social life. We could have an intervention for you here at FinHeaven. We're here for you. :grouphug:
j/k

In complete honesty though, I do not have a single friend or acquaintance who associates themselves with Gangly Green.

South Florida is full of New Yorkers. You should get out and meet some. You can have a good friendship but don't discuss football.

On the one hand, Hernandez hasn't been found guilty of anything yet,
and the jersey is in the home of Pouncey.

On the other hand, Pouncey is a ****ing idiot.

I can honestly say I've never had a Jets fan who was a friend. I think it has a lot to do
with how I even socialize with people. I've had a number of friends who are from New York,
but they all seem to be Yankees/Giants fans. Most of them agree people who like the Yankees
like the Giants, and, people that like the Jets like the Mets and are losers.

I can't even remember a time where I've had a conversation with a Jets fan.

That only matters in a court of law. My opinion of him isn't based on how good his lawyers are.

I'd say the majority of jests fans I've met have been douchebags, but the ones that aren't tend to be great people. Not sure there is a middle ground.

I'm fully aware of how that whole process works.

I think I was ahead of you in slamming Pouncey over the whole "Hat" crisis
on the basis that it signaled to me that there was more fundamentally wrong
with that relationship than a simple wearing of a hat, and the fact that he
wouldn't distance himself from it, whereas his brother did.

However, not everyone that gets accused of a crime is guilty of said crime.
and I can see how a friend would have blinders on.

That doesn't make him smart, or right....It's just that I can see how
he would still at least tacitly support his friend.

I have had good freindships with fans of most football teams....Except the Jets....Come to think of it, the Bills too.

Utah is infested (biblical plague bad) w/ Donkeys "fans"... it makes Sept to Jan unbearable but not this past Feb.

p.s. how can you hate a jest fan... its a comedy goldmine.

Sadly it looks like you may be correct here.

Even extreme leftist Bill Maher had serious issues with how the whole Sterling thing evolved. Of course he didnt agree with Sterling's remarks, but he was bothered, as everyone should be, by how comments Sterling made in the privacy of his own home became public and then were used to ruin him. I thought it was very fair of Maher and its one of the reasons I respect him despite having opposing views a lot of times. Well, that and I find him to be hilarious. Not only can he laugh at his own side of the issue, he is capable of going against the left when he sees it differently. Basically, he calls it how he sees it. It was odd to watch as it was one of the few "new rules" monologues that didnt get interrupted multiple times by applause from the studio audience.

And Maher followed that up with a "new rule" about Don Jones' tweet last night. And again, despite being a huge leftist, Maher also thought it was ridiculous that Jones was suspended and forced to go to "training".

Don Jones part starts at 2:15
