I don't understand the NANNEE lovefest at all. He has been less than mediocre, and w/no impact whatsoever, everywhere he has played. If PHILBIN ever kept him here, it'd go a LONG way toward destroying my trust in PHILBIN. As to CUNNINGHAM, MATTHEWS and FULLER, the only one w quickness and a little SPEED is MATTHEWS. He's also the only one who hasn't been dropping passes consistently. Any Rookie WRs who regularly drop passes don't even belong on the P/S. After all, that was a reason why MIAMI sent B MARSHALL to CHICAGO for "peanuts". That has to change, or as far as I'm concerned, it's "bye-bye".
This is it for PRUITT/MOORE/WALLACE. Either they fish this pre-season, or cut bait...ELSEWHERE. GATES gets 1 more year, if he's even healthy.
OCHO's beginning to show what got him benched in N.E.. But you can't fault his motivation, so he stays...FOR NOW. It's his chance to show he's still got something. IF there's just "more of the same", then HE goes, too. Personally, I think that he's gonna make it here: but he better show topshelf, in ALL aspects.
The only WR out there that I think MIAMI should go after is MIKE WALLACE.
As of right now, I see only BESS and OCHO as locks. As to HARTLINE, you can add him to my list, if and only if he's healthy. Beyond that, I want to see M WALLACE acquired, and added to my list, and I'll judge the rest when the competition and hitting is for-real: in games, even preseason games.
