I dont think so. You dont cut a player because he had one down year subsequent to a very promissing one.
 
No. Why would we cut him when we'd lose 9.7M by cutting him? Jones will be fine, he's still 26 and will do wonders with a ball-hawking safety.
 
I saw in another post that the cap hit is ridiculous so I doubt if we cut him.
 
So quick to cut someone without even thinking of the ramifications.
 
I doubt we cut him because of cap, but that wouldn't stop me from upgrading the position in free agency or the draft.
 
No, Jones is not getting cut. Doesn't sound like the Byrd news we heard last night was real, but even if he was signed he would play next to Jones, not replace him. The Dolphins are not signing both Byrd and Delmas, it will be one or the other.

We (hopefully) will sign one or the other. Not both.

From what I hear Delmas is target #1 and Byrd is being used as a smoke screen to lower Delmas contract.

13 million in dead money if we cut him.
 
Jones had a bad year because of how much he had to back up for our garbage LBs. Once we have better play from those idiots he will be back to his pro bowl ways, pair him with a good FS and we will have a sick secondary.
