Based on what I've seen so far of Ricky's return I'm not hopefull for some breakout stats by him anytime soon. I was never a big fan of Ricky's return, but I am fairly disappointed we are getting absolutely no production out of him at all.
But if he was still the same talent he once was it would make sense to give him more touches. Or if he did something with the touches he has got then it would be silly to not give him the ball. He's not producing so he's not playing, seems pretty simple to me.texasPHINSfan said:ricky a bust??? are you serious? come on, megatron, you are better than that.
we all KNOW ricky has the talent... obviously there are conditions that are hampering his effectiveness... most likely lack of touches. it is hard to get our RBs effectively involved when they are only getting 5-9 carries a game.

Rick has been given a break otherwise he'd still be out of the league.dominizzo said:GIve the rick a break man !! he just came back he will get better as the season goes on
Ricky hasn't proven anything this season at all except that he knows money doesn't grow on trees.dominizzo said:Megatron im shocked that you say that about a proven back!!

Why take away Ronnie's big runs to validate Ricky's lack of production? Those big runs illustrate that Ronnie can produce to some extent even though this O-line is awful, something Ricky has yet to accomplish.fin-atic said:Take away Ronnie's two big runs and what has he gotten? About the same as Ricky.
Until this OLine starts opening some holes it will be more of the same for both. Ricky was wide open down the sideline on one pass play when Gus Fiedler missed him (big shock!).
We also have been playing some very good run defenses. Tampa, KC.
Lets see how they fare against the Saints and Falcons etc.
At least offer something to the thread other than a bad attitude.kastofsna120 said:this thread is up for whoever has that "dumbest thread of the week" thing
