Is Ronnie really the FUTURE?

Nick Saban, who played against him many times, thinks he is GREAT!!! I'll go with that opinion over the talking heads of the world. Ronnie will be to the Dolphins what D. Wade is to the Miami Heat. That's my opinion. I said it, I meant it and I'm here to represent it!!
 
Most every draft site, draft "expert," I read/listened to had Ronnie Brown rated as the #1 running back, and some even had him listed as the best player in the draft. I would actually like to see a link from a site that says he's just a good backup.

But I constanly hear from ESPN, Fox Sports Net, a ton of analysts, Miami Herald, Sun Sentinel, and etc... that he is just a good backup. I find it hard to believe that we would drafted a BACKUP with the second pick in the NFL Draft. I keep hearing hes not shifty, hes got some power but not enough against LB's like Ray Lewis. I hear he cant take hard hits like from a safety coming at full speed to knock his head off. Oh i also hear Channing is a risk at LB, he has no vision, and no speed. While every other team except for the Dolphins is getting a great response from everyone about their picks. I feel that the Dolphins are constantly being put down by everyone because they all hate us or something. It's got to be because of the Perfect Season of '72. We dont ever get the respect we deserve as a Dynasty. ESPN had their football dynastys just recently and they didnt even pick the FINS, who went PERFECT. They pick the Bears over us..... and Marino doesn't get the just due he deserves either just because he didn't win a SB. Steve Young sucks compared to Marino and thats just it, and Peyton i believe is a great QB but DAN IS STILL THE MAN! I want to know what you guys think about the whole Ronnie deal and about the team and stuff, do you see the same things i see?

First I've heard of it.
I can't really imagine why we'd waste the 2nd overall pick in the draft on a backup.

I agree, everybody was saying that Ronnie could be the best player in the draft. I haven't heard anywhere(other then Bills fans) that say he will flop.

Yes, i do believe that Brown will be the future. You can't really have anything positive or negative to say about him in the NFL since he hasn't played a down. I hope that he can play in the NFL like he did in college.

I got a sports illustrated video of the all time players. They got a few QB's, good ones like Montana, etc. but Marino is not part of the etc. Frig 'em. Right now it would be in vogue to put us down because we just sucked last year.Easy to jump on a bandwagon in sports huh? Funny how so many analysts say that the PAts have a strong team...duh! After 3 SB's in 4 years they think the Pats are good. After a 4-12 season they figure we are bad. See how analysts don't have to look in depth to make assumptions like that. The Fins are having bad luck, therefore anyone they took in the draft must be a bust...for now. They'll see.
 
Ronnie will have the first four or five games to audition for the 1st string job. We have a great problem this year that all dolphin fans should be looking forward to.
 
I dont care what espn analysts can say about ronnie brown.He is gonna be a monster this year.He is the perfect prototype back in the nfl.He is big,fast,and he brakes tackles like no other.So screw ESPN.
