Sage has had plenty of chances to prove himself. Bottom line is he's a career 3rd string quarterback. He will never do anything besides hold that clipboard.

Funny how all the other teams can see this yet you all want him to start.

Another thing to note about AJ:

He is apparently not a good holder. The story in Philadelphia was that he was the #3 QB instead of the #2 QB because the #2 guy held.

Matt Turk is our holder, so this only comes into play if Turk doesn't make the team. Should that happen, Gus is slated to be the holder. If Sage can perform that job and can back up Gus as well as AJ can, the #2 job would go to Sage.
