Is Saban stringing Brees along to pressure Minny?

One of them is obviously being used to help with the other. Who knows who at this point?

Honestly that could be the case but it would take a gigantic pair of boys to play that game. What if he loses out on both? Nothing up to this point leads me to belive that we are heading into Wanny era part II. GO SABAN AND GO DOLPHINS!
 
I don't see it as that much of a risk. Daunte is doing his best to make sure nobody else will sign him, so it seems like the worst case scenario for Saban is losing a 2nd round pick for him...where stringing things along might lower that cost.
 
Sabo will take either 1...He prefers 1 over the other,but the injuies to both come into play.Nick is an elite when it comes to playing mind games and getting into peoples heads,More then likely he will get what he wants for the price he wants to pay...if it works it works and if it doesn't it doesn't,He's new and allowed a couple of mistakes,but he's been aight so far! I have faith,if not this year then the next, we will be very strong.
 
It sounds good in theory but Minnesota knows that if Brees signs with the Saints, we are up a creek without a paddle. They know that if Drew goes elsewhere, we will be forced to give up a second minimum. Let's face it, McCown andRamsey aren't great bargaining chips.

Plus, remember that despite what the Raiders say, they need a QB and Minnesota has until the end of the month to trade or cut Daunte now. They are by no meansin panic mode.
