Is Samson Satele good?

Yes And Definately For A Rookie. He Will Be A Solid Starter Here For Many Years To Come. I Think He Was A Steal In The Draft.
 
yes, he only gave up like 2 sacks last year and was the 4th best rated center in the either the AFC or the NFL, I forget which
 
i didnt realize we were 4th best at anything last year,we better keep him. hey do you have other stats where we did have success last year?

well Carey had an awesome year too. While he only gave up 2.5 or 3 sacks, we averaged close to 5.0 YPC (averaged about the same running between center and left guard (because of Satelle, not Liewinski so much), running off left tackle with Ronnie whereas we averaged about 3.4 running off right tackle. When Ronnie went down Chatman averaged about 4 off the left and 2 off the right. We were top ten in running off the left (with Ronnie) and close to last running off the right. Hence why Shelton is gone. NOt to mention the holding and false starts he gave us.
 
he was a pleasant suprise !!!! He should have that spot locked up with the new regime as well. We locked up a spot on our line with that pick ! now if we can just do that 2 more times.
 
Satele also did an extremely solid job run blocking. Rushers average well over 4 yards per carry running behind him and he was a solid in pulling situations as well.
 
I was hoping we would get Kalil in the draft last year. He went just before we picked and we got Satele instead. As it turned out, Satele was terrific. I have posted before that he played with a mean streak and this guy can get down the field too.

He was a great pick for us and maybe the best pick in the draft for us last year, so far.
 
Yes he played very well last year "but" the player we traded to get him played "great" Welker. Same thing with the Donnie Jones trade last year he played great and Fields played good. Probably our 2 best rookies overall last year but like Dolphins luck the players we let go played better!

who gives a %&#@ about welker anyways, I don't, Samson Satele> Welker any freaking day. Welker has that smudge look onhis face just like everyother patriots like their entitled to superbowl.

Uhh,yeah. We won 1st place in the race for the #1 overall pick in the draft....DUH :lol:
 
A Very solid value for a pretty darn good starting center late in the 2nd round, he has good quick feet for a center and the right attitude for an o-lineman. The guy has very nice upside so he may even be a pro bowler one day.

he was our best lineman last year...but we only had 2 good lineman,and Carey was good too,but the effect of Samson had a better effect

i dont agree with that at all..

1=Samson
2=Ted Ginn Jr.(although he only had 34 catches and 2 TD's,he would have had 4 KR/PR TD's if the holding calls werent valid,and turst me,those were some BOGUS calls)
