The Eagles declined comment on whether they have been contacted by the Dolphins about interviewing Birds assistant director of player personnel Jason Licht for a position in their personnel department.

So, It seems like we will get a new GM with all this talk about Spielman bieng on ''thin ice''. What do you gus think about all of this?

I really think Saban is just checking out the guys available and getingt a general idea of who's out there. First Webster now Licht. I don't think he will be rushing his decision anytime soon, but I'm thinking Saban will hire a new GM as early as this summer perhaps, and maybe as late as next season. I think he needs more candidates in line before he starts scheduling interviews and etc. etc. Spielman is on "thin ice" no doubt about that, but he could possibly end up sticking around another season.
