Actually no. After the 3rd or 4th game it will be riding on Moores arm and Henne will be riding the aluminum bench. That being said, I still would not boo the guy. Go to the mens room and puke, sure, but boo ? nah.

No.

The Dolphins aren't the Colts. The Colts are a team that rises or falls on the arm of Peyton Manning. Without Manning how many games do they win? The same could be said for the Marino era Dolphins, without him they are a mediocre team.

Does good QB play make a difference, of course, but this teams success doesn't necessarily revolve around or rely on the strength of the QB alone. Just need somebody to manage the game and not do anything stupid.

If Henne can cut down on stupid and make the occasional big play, that is all this team needs to win.

Now, put Peyton Manning on this team and we threepeat.

I say that desperate times (...to come) calls for desperate measures. Give Denver a 2nd rounder for Orton. It hurts to say that (no pain, no gain I guess), but I can't witness another hell season again. Orton can give us a chance at least. Hope, no matter how dim the light, is hope. Orton gives us some hope at least.

COULD...not WOULD....

Also, you talk about last season...that was last year...we have had alot of changes.

no with Brady we defiantly WOULD have had 4 more wins (I think most would agree).

And I think we have more weapons on both sides of the ball this season. Plus, our special teams SHOULD be better. Henne will without question be the deciding factor if the Fins are going to be a playoff caliber football team.

Yes, it is a QB league and if you cant figure that out by now you are lost as a football fan.

We don't know how things will turn out at this point...with this line, Brady could end up on a stretcher after the first week. The point is that the QB is not the ONLY problem!!! Don't read too much into the "Brady" part of it...

Quite true. QB isn't the only problem ... but it is the biggest problem.

It's always about the QB, and the results he produces.

Amen.

I don't remember very clearly.. and I'm not saying Dilfer was super-exceptional... but didn't he play well that year? I don't remember him being a superstar or anything but I don't remember him being that bad either. At any rate, right now, what I'm saying is that Henne isn't even as good as Dilfer was that year so I don't buy that argument.

Dan Uggla (former Marlin) did these TV ads selling AC units. He has been replaced, to our collective horror, by Dan Henne. Question: how long until we see Matt Moore replace Henne in those ads? Sooner rather later? Bush would be a better spokesman IMO. You?

Henne probably could have lead that team into the playoffs.

Dilfer was just there to hand the ball off to Jamal Lewis. Dilfers QB rating that year is slightly better than Henne last season, 76.6 vs 75.4. The biggest difference between the two is the TD to INT ratio but Henne threw for about 2,000 more yards than Dilfer did. INT's are gonna be low if you never throw and rely on your running game and defense to win.

There isn't enough space to ride on this guys arm for sure. Henne isn't really as bad as people make him seen, only when he makes horrible inaccuracies. He's not as accurate as people made him out to be from college.

i hope Daboll puts Henne in opportunities to succeed this season. no more Henning BS should help Henne. they SHOULD live or die by Henne's arm. If we roll matt moore out there we are doomed.
