Is the SI Curse to blame for our 2006 disappointment?

They picked the Dolphins and Panthers to make the Superbowl.. The Dolphins and the Panthers both finish with losing seasons.. Coincidence?

THE SI CURSE IS REAL! (So is the Madden Curse)

I know it sounds ridiculous, but there is just too much to back up the reality of the curse over the years...

We should be back on track in 07! Keep the faith!
 
I don't think it's really a curse for us, we just don't have the talent on offense to make it happen. I think that when we got Daunte, the hype went thru the roof and everybody was thinking that Daunte could lead us to the promise land.

Reality is that we're just not a very good football team. IMO
 
Those of us who have been around awhile, feel like we've been cursed since the mid 1970's. Shula made a deal with the devil, we went undefeated, and then he took our franchise as payment. Thirty some odd years later, and no Championships to show for it, I'm starting to beleive it....

No such thing as a curse. That SI thing is urban legend. We simply were overrated on Offense. C-Pep was not fully recovered and IMHO I don't even think he realized this as he was over anxious to return. Our OL needed to be overhauled in retrospect. Also, it may have been better to pick up another receiver who could CATCH! The Brees over C-Pep and vice versa thing was a judgement call that just did not turn out how we hoped. Time to move on....
 
Teams that have 6 wins after 15 games arn't cursed....They Stink !!!!!!!!!
 
yea curses exist and they have decided to have been bestowed upon our great football team by a witch named scarlet

At least this team has a couple of SB appearances and Dan Marino in the first part of the '80's.

I think the black cloud surrounding this team dates back to about the time they moved into Joe Robbie/Dolphin Stadium. The uniforms changed and the aura went missing (remember when teams went into the Orange Bowl for a late season prime time game? The place was electric, and we had a sparkling record in those games. Since Joe Robbie/Dolphin Stadium? Not nearly the same).

I don't know if they built the stadium on an ancient burial ground, but this team hasn't been the same for the past 2 decades.
 
An injured Culpepper and a woeful offensive line early on is to blame, not some curse.
 
no but having 4 new starters in the secondary, poor QB play, bad o-line play early, and dropped passes by the WRs are why we struggled.

I stick by a statement I made earlier this week about CC; after going to the pro bowl, and hearing we got Daunte, he became lazy.

Also, while our D improved as the year went on, we can't force turnovers. We have less than 10 ints on the year, and the only way we can get turnovers is if JT causes a fumble.

Plus after it became obvious Daunte wasn't ready, we never trusted Joey enough to open the playbook.
 
We have the newly named Nick Saban curse. He brought Ricky back to get suspended again, blew 2 straight drafts, and will now have a losing record after 2 seasons. You guys thought Wanny was bad, he left here with a winning record. Will Saban be able to say the same??
