Is the VIP forum this apocalyptic???

Just curious if any of the VIPs that might be roving the general forum could tell me if the posts in the VIP forum are as tragic as what is going on here.

There's a lot from this game that would be interesting to discuss, if we could stop the hissy fits for a few minutes. I always wonder if it's worth it to get over to the VIP board, or if its subject to the same message board myopia that goes on everywhere else.

Sorry this is just an out and out BS lie. VIP people are the friendliest crew of people. They are the veterans of this site and they know football. So if you go in making some rediculous comment you will called on it, but thats the same anywhere on this site.

Besides VIP is really about supporting the site. It costs thousands a month to keep this place up and going and less than 1% of the traffic contribute.

They'd need to upgrade this sight for it not to be a rip-off.

Every time a big event happens this sight crashes or runs like the fins in the 4th QTr.

IMO it's the best Dolphin forum but what good is it if you can't get on when the big events happen.....

I was thinking this last night when the site crashed. Not to mention its moronic to pay for a site that has viruses.

I agree, you were in that thread I made about the re-directing, but in their defense they are trying to hunt down the problem. I guess they don't exactly know which exact ads the spyware is associated with.

Is it possible to give people permissions to view the VIP forum but not post? Might help entice more people to pay if there was an open week where people could check it out and see the difference. Just an idea.

Absolutely. I'd be way more likely to fork over some money if I could trust that there would be no spyware. The recent surge of ads will do nothing for the site other than turn people off. I doubt there is much, if any, revenue stream from these retarded ads. Hell, I've seen more Jets ads on this site than I have on the Gang Green forums! Talk about wrong demographic.

Ive always thought this. At least let us see the titles of the threads. I might find something that catches my eye and feel the need to weigh in. Its hard to pay money when I dont exactly know what im paying for.

Sounds like they need more bandwidth or a better hosting option. That stuff is not free.....
