what do you guys think, ive noticed the last 2 weeks the wildcat hasnt been very effective, actually its been making our games way too close, because we arent getting positive yardage and we have to pass the whole game, and i havent seen Henne get the deep ball to any recievers lately so how can we produce some points, i checked the stats and we have allowed more points this year than we have scored, somethin has to fix this

I think it will always be a threat, but we need to get a respectable passing game going if it's ever going to be consistent.

^ Thats all i care about. As long as the dolphins win, i could care less about the wildcat.

It's getting too predictable. We need to establish our passing game and once a team is rattled, use it. We need to use it at the right times, perhaps even take advantage of the situations when they don't have the right personnel on the field to stop it.

like using it in the red zone.

I disagree. I know what you are saying but if it wasnt for Ginn (god i thought id never say this) or JTs TD we would have lost by a couple of TDs.

Our offense at times looks great but then it looks extremly anemic lik it did most of the game. We need to start running better out of I-form. Ronnie seems like unless its Wildcat he cant gain any yardage

I agree with the comment above that we need to establish a passing game out of it...but so far, Ronnie doesn't appear to be the answer. I hate to say it, but this is where we could use Pat White...but if we are dependent on him coming around...we may have a while to wait.

Also, we aren't going to be going against a lot of teams with defenses like the Jets. But, against teams with good D's...the WC is in trouble.

The answer is yes. Teams have taken notice to what the Saints did. Blitz the corners. Jets did it tonight and it worked once again. Teams will continue to blitz the corners when we run the Wildcat. So until Henning decides to take his head out of his *** and either open up the Wildcat a bit, or start running it less and actually focus on basic formations because the playcalling today was pathetic at best.

I don't get this comment. You do realize that Special Teams and Defense are part of the game too? We executed on Special Teams and that counts too. Those aren't fake touchdowns. You'd swear we didn't win the game today the way people are acting.

i see what your saying but the offense today was brutal. i dont know why we dont run the original WC anymore with ronnie in backfield and bring ricky in motion it worked great we are getting too fancy with all these misdirections and stuff just pound it up the middle or give it on the sweep

They need to teach Ronnie to throw the quick slant without the roll out. If the corners come, quick read to the WR before the S drops onto him, otherwise try to take it between the tackles. Either that or, as mentioned above, Pat White needs to throw some passes... has he put the ball up a second time at all this year after the Ginn overthrow his first game?

I think teams some teams have to be preparing for it and maybe we check to see if they truely have. It does seem like we lose momentum sometimes for henne. especially after he hit a couple of passes.

I have been saying this for two weeks now what we neeed is to put 4 wrs out there and spread the field and do it on the first towo offensive drives . yet our wr corp is why we probally wont run that many wrs.
