In my opinion, for a team that is 1-6, no. In no uncertain terms however we win is good.
With that said I'm a realist. We didn't beat a team that played well last Sunday. They played as poorly against us as they did against the Cards and we have a more talented team than the Cards do right now.
There were positives in that game that we haven't seen prior. Unfortunately, they didn't come on offense. Our offense seemed to do exactly the same things it's done all season. The difference was, we had the lead the entire game and therefore could control the clock, keep our defense off the field which in turn kept them fresh and allowed them to keep putting pressure on the Bears O. When we did score we had less than 30 yards to get in the endzone each time. If we can continue to get field position like that, then we should be able to win a lot. We'll be lucky if that happens again this season. The entire league knows we can't sustain a drive and the longer the drives are, the more likely Joey is to turn the ball over.
I don't care what anyone says, Ronnie has run extremely well in every game this season. I don't remember too many other rbs in the league that have been caught in the backfield as often as Ronnie and still turned it into positive yards. Everyone talks Muroney. If he's touched in the backfield he loses yards. He's an awesome open field runner and extremely fast, but if the space isn't there he's not that good. Maybe that will come with experience. Most of the season Ronnie has gotten us 2 or 3 yards more often than not despite being hit 4 or 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.
I've thought we could beat any of the teams we've played so far this season. But not with the current offense that we run unless we can manage to have the lead the entire game, our D stays fresh (which is tough for an older group) and we DON'T TURN THE BALL OVER. If we want to have any hope we can't keep averaging 2 picks a game. That has to change and so far not enough is different with the offense for it to change.
