First off I love miller.I still believe in him, but I dont think he's a #1, but I think he completely excels as a #2 amd there's nothing wrong with that. I think he more than proved that running behind bush.

I think we def need to draft a rb in this draft to be the #1. I'm not a believer that you cam just get rbs late. IMO the top rbs that aren't system dependent are much harder to find than given credit for.

Sankey IMO fits the mold of a true #1 that can carry the load for years.

He's tough as nails, sheds tackles, great vision, can cut back, patient, runs low to the ground, never looks off balance, catches out of the backfield, and has proven he can carry the load. I think he's being incredibly underrated because he may not "pop" off the screen the way other rbs have. But it's all there, any game tape you watch, you'll see a complete rb who runs aggressive.

I'd draft him in the 2nd rnd. He doesn't quite have the vision and sharpness Curtis Martin does, but reminds me a lot of him who is ome of my favorite rbs of all time. And IMO drafting a rb who gives you years of production is an incredibly underrated value.

What's your guys thoughts?

watch the move he makes at 3:03 in the video. wow. i'd take him based off that one cut over anyone we've taken in the 2nd round in the last 10 years.

Sorry overall I don't see it.

I see a guy that didn't have to breaks much tackles. His line gives him alot of room to work
I see a guy with questionable top end speed. He literally got caught in the open field by a defensive end.

He does seem to have good vision.

PASS! Based on that i saw.

I like Sankey but not before the 3rd round. I think hes a solid back and comes in better at pass protection then anything we have on the roster. imo

if we're going to take a rb in the second, Jeremy Hill is the one I want, guy is amazing.

RB rankings seem to be all over the place this year. No clear cut #1 or 2 through 6 for that matter.

Sankey actually rounds out my top 4...I'm really high on him, he's got some McCoy in him and I think his value is 3-4 right now. I think a perfect back for us would be Hyde, 3 down player who can convert short yardage, but if we could score Sankey in the 3rd it'd be a coup. Also just gonna throw this out there, long speed is probably the most overrated RB skill out there.

Sankey or Mason in Round 2 wouldn't be bad. I watched Sankey's U. of Washington Pac-10 games and he is strong and moves the pile. Reminds me of Emitt Smith in terms of the way he moves and strength.

Tre Mason would be a sweet player for us to get. I like Hill, big guy and breaks tackles. Off Field might be a problem. Sankey looks nice, Hyde has nice size. Looks like if we are interested in a new RB we can get him from round 2-5.

I like hill, but I'm not sold on his footwork, a lot of stop and go in his game.

I like Sankey, I like KaDeem Carey more though.

I just don't see the upgrade from Miller with Kadeem, we need more physicality IMO.

For me Hyde is right neck and neck with sankey. For one I don't see Hyde getting past the giants in the 2nd rnd. He just seems destined to go there in my mind. And second, I think sankey is a much faster once he hits the second level.

Hyde might have more size, but anyone who has watched sankey has seen him drag defenders and move piles. For me Hyde reminds me a lot of Mark Ingram presumedly without the injuries.

I love watching Mason in college, but I can't help but wonder how much that oline helped him. There were times he had so much space, it seemed like he would come to a complete stop in disbelief he dominate his oline was, especially when some of those guys really got up the field.

But yeah, sankey really is a physical back, the video I posted doesn't do him justice on how hard that kid runs. After watching Lamar miller and Daniel Thomas, god knows we need that.

Andre Williams of BC is the guy I'm hoping Miami takes. Love his skill set. He runs through tackles like a beast. Miller would pair nicely with him as a change of pace #2 rb
