Is there a petition somewhere to get LeBetard fired?

Someone is paid to write their opinoin............you don't agree so you want him fired? Please. I don't agree with what he wrote, but a petition to get him fired?

This is the U.S.A. last time I checked and trying to get someone fired over his opinion is mindblowing. Move to Iran or Cuba then you can go try and get reporters fired for their work.

Scandlous and bad news sell papers better than good news. I'm sure even during the 17-0 season todays writers of the Herald would have something bad to write about.

I read the article and I kept wondering how short sighted and inept this reporter was at investigating or even comprising a picture based not only on facts, but clear evidence. Rick isn't mortgaging the future for short term, he is trying his damnedest to not tank now. He kept saying 'one piece away'. So because we aren't SB bound, we should not get any new players, make deals or trades and just suck this year to get a good draft spot for next year? What a moron. It is win now, it is always win now. But it's not like we traded the entire defense to get Lamar Smith or something.

If you are a piece away, it is OK to trade your team MVP and coveted young pass-rusher for a second-tier receiver.

Blah, blah, blah......

If they would have signed him you would have criticized them for investing more than the 35 million already invested in the starting defense.

LeBatard's column was his worst ever. Not only because it fit into his usual intentionally inflammatory mold, but because it made absolutely no f**king sense.

Sticking with guys who aren't going to be here next year -- Fiedler, Minor, Thompson, Freeman -- is "rebuilding" mode, but bringing in guys who are going to be central pieces in our offense for the next several years -- Feeley, Booker, Gordon -- is "win now" mentality?
