Well after reading the arguments about Feeley once again on the forum, I thought I'd post this question. Has any QB ever played well for Wanny at the pro level? Or at the college level? Fiedler was not great for us, overall, but I remember him doing fine filling in at Jacksonville. Feeley had a rough time last year, but filled in fine at Philly. Griese was not good for us, but looked good for Tampa and had a pro bowl year at Denver.
All I know about Chicago was that they were not good with Wanny as a coach so I doubt his Qb's did well. Or did they? Has any QB ever ovecome the Wanny factor?

You answered your own question when you talked about Greise. He did well in Tampa. Perhaps AJ/Sage whoever, would do better under Saban

feidler did pretty well for us here. better then he did filling in for jacksonville anyway. However, to answer you're question, No most QBs under Wanny are not entirely successful. Because his style of play doesn't make the QB the go to guy. It makes the defense the kings of the team and the running game dominant. A guy like Chad Pennington would be good for a coach like Wanny.

I don't know, but I think Tyler Palko will do extremely well for Pitt this year and may end up the Qb whose value climbs like Alex Smith's did.

Umm...what he said....without the Mr.T reference. :D I too am tired of the Dolphin QB recycling program. Lets be done with it and draft someone to build around next year. That being said good luck to AJ...he's going to need it.

Fiedler was mediocre at best for us, he looked much better at JAX.

Fiedler took over after #13 retired and he had no talent around him, he did a great job to win as many games as he did. No he wasn't flashy and didn't put up huge #s but he won and when he didnt play you lost alot more.

Erik Kramer lit it up for the Bears in 95. 29 TD 10 INT. they were the #8 scoring offense in the league. But that was the exception to the rule.

Did Wanny ever call any plays that everyone watching the game couldn't figure out he was going to call? I could predict every play call in Wanny's 3 and out scheme.....no wonder Ricky got burned out and quit....he got tired of the same calls that got him killed every time.....Saban will mix it up.
