Is there any position on the team that you feel needs to be addressed and has been ignored? Who would you like to see fill that position and why?

I think LB is still a position of need for the Fins. I admit I really wanted Manny Lawson or Bobby Carpenter but I am just as happy with Jason Allen. As for who will fill the LB spot......I don't really think there is anybody out there who is better than Spragan or Hodge and would be worth getting. Any thoughts?

I think we`re loaded everywhere. In fact, we were loaded even before the draft. And that`s why we picked BPA. It`s sooo good. :)

If we can snag Ahmad Brooks in the supplemental draft Id be very happy with each position and depth.

Not really concerned about any position directly, but I am curious to see how certain things develop. First and foremost, the O-line. It's gonna have to come together fairly quick with Houck's guidance and protect our new investments (Daunte, Joey, Ronnie). If it's not up to par or there are upgrades available afer June 1st cuts, then we can pursue them.

Also, I want to see how our Secondary comes together, we were sloppy last season at the corners and the middle at times. I know it was a new scheme and evryone was still figuring it out. Well obviously Saban saw it too and has overhauled the secondary this offseason. It should be interesting to see how this develops, it's a mix of rookies and vets, but it's still a lot of new personnel learning Saban's system. But I do have faith that it will be an improvement over last season because Saban is a big secondary guru.

All in all, we have to remember that you can't turn a battleship on a dime, but in the last 2 seasons, Saban has got his personnel on the team, and now our battleship is heading in the right direction, the battle for the AFC East and higher. I 100% support and appreciate everything Saban has done for our Fins.

OLB we need a solid starter here not a bunch of half good guys battling to start, RB we need a back up who can help ronnie and bear some of the load, Safety sure we got Allenbut he is unproven and the injury plus its pretty much the same situation with the linebackers we need a solid starter here

Center. We do not have a stud Center. Mckinney is OK but only because of Houck. People say that Hadnot will be a center but with all the movement that Houck does, it translates that we do not have a stud center, who dominates and controls the OL with authority.

Alot of people are saying OLB, but have not considered why Saban has kind of left that open at this point. Well, the answere is JT and David Bowens. They represent the "switch" in our defense IMO. You line up 4, JT stands up and plays LB while the others shift, and all of a sudden, the OL is confused.

QB, WR, TE, RB, and FB are all pretty much filled with talent. DT and DE's are a plenty and our DB's are also filled but who plays and starts will be the only question. So yes, OLB could very well be the weak spot, but only if you leave out the fact that JT and Bowens are key guys in the system and how it works. They are considered LB's in our system because they are to be left "open" to read the offense and make a play affecting the QB.

I think there are a few concerns, but OLB is the only position that doesn't feel "defined" as having a true starter. We could have used a better Center, but if coaching can improve Seth McKinney's play even more than he improved last year(which amazed me) and having some other guys that can play Center, then we may just be okay on the line.If anyone can whip these guys up into shape, then it's coach Houk.I am not so sure that we really need another running back.Sammy Morris may not have the glamor attached to him that having "you know who" to back up Ronnie did,but does anyone really think "you know who" would have excelled behind the line that we had in "04"?We had the worst line play in the leauge then and Sammy still got over 500 yards at 4 yards per carry. Not too bad since his total career avg. is somewhere at 3.8 per carry.I think he may be able to take up the slack.Remember how good he looked spelling "you know who" the year before breaking off ten yard chunks on third down.Well, anyway, otherwise,I think we will do well in all other respects and our secondary should be much improved.I'll take the sure tacklers and be happy with the fact that they are not interception hogs. That's what Will Allen is for.

I think the team looks good. I feel the linebacker position is fine. You dont have to have a big name or a superstar in everyspot, most teams dont. The less popular names can develop and good players can become great players with the right coaches and teammates.

Honestly, QB still concerns me. C-Pep may not be ready to start the season and quite frankly Im not looking foward to Joey vs. Pitt

Yes I am very concerned about that QB position. If Culpepper cant start the season out healthy we are in trouble at that spot. Joey Harrington is not the answer. I have already seen what he can do as a starter in this league and it isnt what we need at QB. Say Joey has to start the first month I believe the play will look all to familar at qb. We will once again have a qb who loses us games by himself. We will once again remain close in games and have a chance to win because of our Defense yet will lose close games because of the play from QB. Joey will throw the stupid INT with the game on the line just as Jay,AJ,Gus,Griese,Lucas. The only difference between Harrington and those other QB's is they at least had drive and determention while Joey has none.

how does it work if we give a conditionnal 5th for harrington and use a 5th on amhad brooks

I am still concerned about the OLine. Very concerned. Wee have not really solved that problen in years. We have not one single outstanding player in the group and the have not been good. We really have not fixed it.

Im not one to say Joey will win us a championship, but he is more than an adequate backup who can fill in a few games when hes needed. You have a strong opinion that Joey will cause losses all by himself, when all you have seen from this kid is his play with the DETROIT LIONS...

I think this could be Joey's big chance to show hes capable of winning football games and having guys like Ronnie Brown, Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, and Randy McMichael to work with- I think it will at the very least be interesting to follow. I really doubt he will mirror A.J. Feeley.
