Is there anyway possible HE stays on the team despite this event?

I hope not...I don't want this loser on our team anymore. No excuse for his pathetic actions.

From all accounts Chad has trained well. However, there is no possible excuse for ever hitting a woman.
This is Joe Philbin's opportunity to send an early clear message to the entire team that there are consequences for inappropriate behavior that results in bad publicity. 95% likely that he gets chopped. The timing is good in that there are many young WRs busting their butts to make the 53 man squad.
Also note that Chad needs professional help in the form of a psychologist since he can't control his anger/violence with his wife after just a month of marriage. After 12 years as an NFL footballer with no hint of trouble with the law, it is very sad to go out like this.

Nobody knows what happened yet, things get heated and **** happens. For all we know it might have been an accident she doesnt look like the type not to call the cops TBH

We know there was an argument, police were called, a headbutt occurred, and she had a huge gash on her head. I guess she could have "fallen down the stairs" and bumped her head into his on the way down...

There was enough reason to drop him BEFORE this. This is just icing on the cake. They're trying to implement a new system and create a winning team, not provide a supporting cast for the Ochostinko Show. How they handle this will tell me a lot about the this staff. Keeping him completely destroys many of the reasons given for trading Marshall.

Heart to heart with chad? LMAO!!! Come on people. If you don't think coaches have these talks with most players your kidding yourself. Don't be fooled by what you see on an hour episode on hard knocks, that comment coming from philbin will have no impact if we get rid of him because of this incident. Hes prolly gone regardless

On a side note, what is it with wide receivers being the biggest divas in football? One of the most overrated positions in the game.

The further away they are from the football the more needy they seem to be

Philbin is the real deal. He will do the right thing and release him. This team philosophy is bigger than one man.

This is a new era...a new beginning. The Dolphins are already rebuilding and most people don't see them winning anymore than 6-8 games anyway...set a standard and send him packing!!!
