Ive been listening to local sports radio here in Miami all day and everyone is bashing our offensive line/run game.
I dont know, maybe I was watching a different game but after the disappointing job the OL has done in the preseason, I feared for Chad Henne and Reggie Bushs life but pass protection was pretty damn good, something to build on. Jake Long is the man and Pouncey is a beast, playing against 2 of the biggest DTs in the game. As far as the running game, ya one could look at the stats and see Bush averaged 3.5 ypc which is pretty much average in this league. Was it horrible like "Big O" said on 640 (he was bashing the hell out of the line play), no it wasnt horrible. Im actually surprised they play as good as they did.
Lets not forget the beautiful play call from Daboll on 4th and goal 10 yards out, QB draw, without the OL and Pouncey getting to the second level, who knows. And like I said, this was against Wilfork and Haynesworth, thats as strong as a DL gets inside.
