I'm on board. I think we have greatly improved the team. It may take a year of learning before Beck hits stride, but I believe he will be good.

I really like the pick. He is an extremely athletic quarterback and isnt afraid to put his shoulder down to get those few extra yards. With the right coaching, which we have, he is going to be a great quarterback in the league.

i am no QB genius, but i have searched for Quinn footage that makes you say Wow, to compare the option we had at 9 with what we had at 40. I cant find anything that makes my jaw drop. I wish i could see how far down the list Quinn was in Mullers draft sheet.

Keep in mind that was at altitude, so it probably only goes about 60 at sea level. But it was still a very good throw and I think he'll be ready to play for us sooner rather than later.

Wow

I must admit, I was a little surprised that we passed on Quinn, but I was not high on Brady, but with that said, what an arm beck has!!

I think Beck comes in a situation that is much better than the situation if Quinn was here. I think Beck will not have the pressure that Quinn would of had! Now i think Beck will be able to relax and learn a GREAT QB system that Cam will be putting into place. Beck is a smart guy that LOVES the game of footbal and I expect him to be a very workman like QB. One that just gets the job done without be flashy, I would say kinda like.............Trent Green.

I think we got Best QB in the draft for now!!! Russell will be a work in progress, Quinn will not handle the pressure in a very tough AFC north, and Beck has probably the one the best defenses in the NFL to fall back on, can Russell or Quinn say that!!!

I am very happy with the Beck selection and I see him being the next 10 year Qb for Miami!!!

John Beck arm is so strong, if he didn't enter the NFL Draft he would have replaced the United States Long-Range Missile System.

That last play made me giddy. :D Looking forward to this season.

Thanks for posting that.

Wow, he seems pretty tough. Not afraid to take a hit in order to complete a pass. And a very impressive arm too.

A strong arm? Sure. But who really cares. How often do quarterbacks really let it rip like that unless they are in desperation mode. We need a decision-maker. A smart, mature leader who is going to take care of the football. Hell, Daunte could probably rip the ball down the field all day. But when it came to game time he was dinking and dunking to save his life. Beck is smart. If his game is where the Dolphins big-wig's think it is, we should be in good shape. Add Green's tutelage and the ingredients for a professional quarterback are all there.

One thing to notice is his throwing motion requires a lot less efforts than Quinns. I am so happy we didn't take Quinn.

Look at the stats. What i love is the quick release he has. He flicks the ball with his wrist. I cant wait to play madden now with a actual fast wide out. and a accurate passer. Now lets draft a TE, OG/OT and a FB
