Thoughts?

Sorry but I don't want Moreno on this team, he doesn't play 16 games, he's too brittle. I think we will not bring him back

so you think you are gonna land franklin, dan williams, kareem jackson, and devin mccourty all in free agency??? i think that's highly unlikely miami can scoop that kind of haul...mccourty the one that would be the most difficult...think new englands locking that up

Agreed, but he's proven and he'll come cheap on a prove it deal. If he goes down we're good with Miller.

I guess anything is possible?

Draft picks.... Parker should be availalbe at 14, but Fins will need to trade up to a late 1st to grab Perryman.

I doubt Knowshon is back. Team seems happy with Miller/Williams in the backfield....really just need that short yardage back.

Orlando Franklin should be a big target for Miami to finish up the O-line.

Dan Williams is a NT, not sure he fits the scheme?

They're all attainable outside of McCourty.... hence the name of the thread. Maybe Raheem Moore would be a better option?

I don't even want him cheap, what good is it if he's injured. I like Miller but I'm not fine with just him.

Kendricks?

you got a better shot at raheem moore...and jackson given the market is gonna command money i dont think his play validates although i do think he'd be a scheme fit...and having taylor as the back up option for both boundary guys makes sense to me

williams is a 34 nose putting him in a 43 i dont know is best for him

if we land franklin i will feel much better about the oline in 2015...like we have pretty much filled the needs...kids have to play just the way it is...i'm playing billy turner...then just need depth and preferably someone that can play the pivot as it...have to have someone depth wise who can snap the ball since no one else of the starters can

the olines closer than people think...land franklin and you have versatility in it also...

Agreed. I'm not ready to rule out Turner as a possible back up to Jame or Albert if they go down either. He has all the intangibles, and was all account a mauler in school, but was raw. Hopefully he'll develop.

you shouldn't on turner...he would be part of the depth at tackle if need be...same for franklin...that way you got 4 potential tackles in the cupboard if need be...but franklin cant play the left tackle so he would be a depth right tackle...

albert goes down james shifts over again...turner falls in that play either side potential guy but likely next year 4th in line given they want him to start at a guard spot and i think he will this season...

in other words here's the tackle depth chart with albert the starting left tackle if ready week 1 james the starting right tackle franklin the starting lg and turner the starting right guard...franklin played left guard in denver so i'm leaving him there where he's comfortable

lt
albert
james
turner

rt
james
franklin
turner

That's nice depth.... by the same logic wouldn't Turner be better suited to play LG after spending so much time at LT?
