Ok all the talk now is about free agency and the draft and what we need to do to take the next step. we all agree we were physicaly dominated vs. baltimore and we need to get bigger, but also i think we are a little soft on D i think we need a stud MLB a hard hitting safety (do you remember any hard hits from our safetys this year?) and a bigger corner to cover tall recivers (moss, fitz, ect.) and another nose tackle. On offense i think we are decent we just need a big play WR and to get a little bigger on the o-line. so is this is my thoughts

free agency

1.jermaine phillips- ss- tampa- we move bell to free safety and put this hard hitting beast at strong, if you have watched tampa you know this guy brings the pain.

2.bryant mcfadden-Cb-pittsburg- he is a little bigger than goodman and allen and could help us vs. bigger wr's, keep goodman also. you can never have to many good corners.

3. torry holt-wr-rams- I know he is older but he could help us and we could get him in a trade and not give up much, maybe beck and one of our DE's and a 5th.

4.jordan gross-OT-panthers-he would be an upgrade at RT

DRAFT

1st-rey malaluga-MLB-usc- i know he will probably be gone but we can trade up, we need this hard hitting monster if we want to compete with the more physical tems (ravens) and he is a beast.

2nd-ron brace-NT-BC-young nose to groom.

???????????? to much to ask???

I think we need to sign Jordan Gross. He is more of a Right Tackle though, which is fine, since our RT Vernon carey is a free agent. Instead of signing carey, we should sign Gross.

Also, about the draft - I do not agree with trading up. We need all our picks.

I dont want to give up pics but there are other ways of moving up, we have tons of trade bait

no way do we get rey.we could draft his running mate brian cushing tho.

I wouldnt mind trading up to get someone like Mauluaga or Taylor Mays but what would the cost be? Maybe if we could dump players but not draft picks. We need all of our picks. If not Mauluaga then maybe Laurninitis if he lasts or Brandon Spikes as well.

For out 2 2nd picks brace or raji or Suh from nebraska. Then Hicks from UNC or Britt from rutgers.

i dont think we have much trade bait besides Ronnie, or Porter @ this point. lol

i agree with your FA i would love J.Phillips and B.Macfadden but i dunno bout the draft trade that seems too hard to move up into the top 10.

1, Bell as FS is not an option, he is more the run stuffing SS, he has absolutely no hands ( no offense i Love the guy, but this is a fact). One career int, tells you his is not an FS

2, I agree

3,As I'have written I don't see him coming to Miami. Read he plans to return to Car?

4, Totally Agree, He would be my top FA target

Draft:

1, I dont see us trading up that much that we have a shot at Rey. And especially with Tuna, and his eye for LB-s maybe we even don't have to, I would not be suprised, if he'd already spotted some hidden gems, that would probably beat ut Rey.. ( who is a fantastic ILB, I just don't see us trading up that much)

We have $ to spend and a Brass that is very careful with it... I would be optimistic if I were you...

trade down not up... BP & Ireland make a lot out of a little...

1. ball hawking fs like Atogwe from the rams through FA
2. Daunte Robinson cb form texans when healthy he could be beter than anything we got.
3. Jordan Gross/ Vernon Carey- i like em both we should just play the numbers game to find which one is better for us
4. Karlos Dansby lb arizons and send crowder packing

-NOTE- we would NEVER trade up we have to many needs and no bait, especially for someone like Rey, he has character issues and would not fit our team standards.
Look for cushing lb out of usc or alex mack in the first unless HOTlanna picks b4 us then bj raji NT out of bc, but he will prolly b gone by then if hotlanna drafts first
