Leading up to this game DW was talking about avoiding turnovers and how punting isnt that bad. Now that we lost this game and had another pick returned for a TD, Is DW going to get even more conservative? I think our gameplan for next week will be giving gordon 63 carries.
Is this loss going to make us more conservative?

Kind of hard to be that conservative when your runningback just had a game with 19 carries for 22 yards. Just a shade over 1 yard a pop? Nice goin O line. As for the offensive gameplan, it's basically pick your poison. Pass and get a first down every now and then at the expensive of Feeley's well-being and the occasional paniked throw getting picked off. Or just run, run, -3rd & 8- run a draw, screen or quick hitch and punt. My point is --- Conservative or not.... If the O line plays like this it wont matter.
They can hand the ball to gordon 63 times but he isnt gonna go anywhere with our o line. We have to pass the ball a lot this year and Feeley will be fine if he gets a little bit of time to throw the ball. I can't see us being anymore conservative than we were last night. I hope we kill the steelers next week but im not counting on it!

Wannstedt: "Well we need to run the ball. We have to get a running game going from the standpoint of running the ball. We will run the ball...and if running the ball doesn't work we'll punt. Matt Turk has been exceptional from a punting standpoint."

Wanny: "Well we'll start Feeley this week and see how that goes. Hopefully with a week of practice our offensive line will perform better. My goal is to limit the Steelers defense to just 6 sacks..........standpoint!"

If this offense becomes more conservative we won't score points at all. We can't run the ball. We need to pass it. Feeley may sometimes like to throw the ball to the other team, but it's the only way that we are going to have a chance to win games.
