I know that the Chiefs can't trade their 3rd round compensatory pick but can they trade the player that is chosen with that pick? I know the Jags and Ravens pulled off a deal last year when the Jags traded Kevin Johnson to the Ravens for a receiver (I believe it was Wilford) that the Ravens had already drafted but I don't think that Wilford was picked with a compensatory draft choice. If this is possible, could you see Saban pretty much telling the Chiefs who he likes with that pick and then maybe trading Surtain for the player, a 4th, and a pick next year?

its too risky. what if the chiefs rip us off and keep the player.and if we get their third i dont think there will be any picks next year . u guys are all to hopeful. look right now there contemplating whether to give us a forth and thats it for surtain, a lousy forth. if we get their third i doubt welll get any l8er pick this year or next. and if we get their second dont even think about another pick.
