Sometimes I seriously have to question if the irony is too good to be true.
Sometimes I wonder if were just this bad, or if the **** is rigged. If the NFL influences hirings, outcomes of games, etc....for the purpose of creating storylines for each team for each season?
Were all smart enough to know that Philbin should have been gone last year...but Ross kept him. Why? Is it because the owners have their hands tied behind their backs by the NFL and we don't know about it? Are they truly in total control of their team? Or does the NFL control this ****?
Examples just using the Patriots:
- Its like its a cycle all over again. In 2007 there was the Spygate scandal....all the negative media talk...then they HOP ALL OVER THE PATS NUTS for the rest of the season as they almost go undefeated and break records along the way. The media LOVES it. They love the Superbowl loss even better - almost a story too good to be true. The ultimate underdog story. Good .vs. Evil.
- What happened last season? "Are Belichek and Brady finished? OMG..." --a few weeks nonstop of this story....and then The Patriots go on to win it all and the deflategate story dominates the headlines in the post-season.
- What happens this year? We hear "Is Tom Brady a cheater?" ALL off-season. Now the Patriots are back to being the DEVIL of the NFL and will go on to assault every team they face, break more records, and the media will be on their nuts ALL season. "Tom Brady and Bill Belichek at their best again! They're showing everyone! They're showing the world they are not cheaters!" ....lmao
Are they really that good? Are we really that bad? Every NFL team has their own personal storyline each season...and sometimes it makes me wonder. The outcomes of games sometimes seems to ironic.
Unfortunately for us....regardless if this is true or not....Clay, Hogan, Incognito, and Carpenter just whipped our ***. Its a little ironic...and its the catalyst that will have the media talking all season long about "How long until Philbin is fired?" and "Is Suh the most overrated player in NFL history?"
This cant be real can it? **** our life if it is....
