Is this the Jimmy Johnson, Nick Saban situation all over again??

I looked at the Titans roster under Fisher, and yes Haynesworth was big, but he was pretty much the exception to the rule. They had 280 pound Defensive Tackles, 260 pound Defensive Ends and Linebackers around the 230 pound mark. We know what our undersized defense was like when Jimmy Johnson was our Head Coach. Every year they got worn down and pummeled against physical running teams.

Whys that? Because Harbaugh benefited from a easy schedule in his first season? He did exactly what Sparano did. Obviously he won more games but the NFC West is a ****ing joke. You will be surprised at what Fisher could do to this team.

Easy schedule or not they were 4-1 versus playoff teams. They beat cinn and Detroit on road and beat the Giants and Pittsburgh, their lone loss to a playoff team was to Balt
In 2008 our record was 1-2 versus playoff teams

Get a QB and all will be right.... don't and meet the same fate as every other "savior" we've had that didn't value the QB position enough to go "all in".

I will bet anything that Fisher will never turn our Dolphins around like Jim Harbaugh has done with the 49ers. I will also say that Jim Harbaugh is a great coach. Fisher may be good but he's not great. There's a difference.

You don't know that. Our team is better than our record indicates. We just need some leadership and great coaching. You'd be surprised what these Fins could do if they had the right coach.

Unlike JJ, Fisher still wants to coach. Unlike Saban, Fisher has proven he is a competent NFL head coach.

I definitely have my concerns about him, but I'm not worried that he's just going to take the money and run.

The difference is JJ amd saban had already won their respective championships. Jeff hasn't I'm sure there is fire there to get over the hump, and win the big prize.

His legacy, like all coaches, isn't merely measured by wins.. but by championships.
