Good shape for next year!
Remember, guys we are still in rebuilding mode this year. Look at what we did with a flim, flam roster last year. Every addition we have made this year has upgraded the team. We have depth at CB that we have not seen since Surtain leaving. We have quality and depth at Qb that we have not seen since Dan. We will be ok at linebacker even without Junior. A star LB like peterson, or arrington will not make or break the team. Saban is a defensive minded coach that will get more out of anyone who plays d for him. We've needed good offensive players for a long time to take us over the top, and even if Cpep sits out the entire season, look at what you have when he is finally healthy. SCARY! Harrington would not be my first choice at number 2, but he will be fine. WR's are ok... the rooks will add depth and hopefully someone will step up to be a solid #3. Running the ball without Ricky will not be as much fun, but don't forget we signed Beasley the Beast who will help carry the load, and resigning Sammy Morris will add depth. Oline has been beefed up by adding the Shelton and Pierce and with the rooks. Dline, and LBs will be good as usual. Saban could take a tree trunk and make a good d lineman out of it.
I can't wait for next season! I will see you guys at the Superbowl.
