When we drafted Jake Long first overall I was very excited and yet disappointed we didn't take Mat Ryan.
I knew Jake was a beast and he showed it for years before injuries took over.
So is Tunsil the better player then Jake long or do you think Jake was better.

As a prospect yes he's better.

As a pro nobody knows yet. Long was outstanding for a few years before he got hurt.

Jake long was a hell of a player before he got hurt, maybe even a hof level tackle. If he is even close then we have a top level lt for the next 15 years

Tunsil is just an amazing athlete to watch on tape, could be best player in the draft. Long was a beast prior to Tony making him play hurt for his **** wildcat. Time will only tell but i believe Tunsil has much better foot work but I am not sure he is a strong as Long.

Both were great prospects. I think tunil might be a better prospect because his footwork and pass blocking ability in college were ahead of Jakes.

No.

Jake did everything. He excelled in pass protection & was a road grader run blocker.

I REALLY like Tunsil, & I'm stoked he's a Dolphin ... But lets not go overboard. If big Jake didn't get chomped on by the injury bug, we might be talking about the greatest O-lineman ever.

It's sad Long declined like he did. He was a monster- a wall. Tunsil is more athletic and has more tools in his tool chest. It's like comparing a classic Charger to Corvette. People will have their preferences but each had greatness available.

Who is? Orlando pace?

In today's game? Tunsil is the better prospect, which is what I assume you are asking. More athletic and can handle speed rushers better. I was going to say that he's not as good in run protection, but that would discount how quick he gets to the second level. Hopefully he has better luck with injuries (not concerned about the ones he had in college) and keeps his head on straight. My only two minor concerns.
