Is Vonate really demoted?

Guys I've never seen one report thy says Vontae is playing the inside slot WR. He comes during nickel but Marshall plays the slot and Davis stays outside. Not sure what's going on but it has nothing to do with trying Vontae in the slot so far anyway.
 
Coaches have to respond to each player differently like a family no two kids are the same - and they actually dislike it when only is one does poorly and they all get disciplined - Vontae is like his brother a bit of a headcase - coach neds to get through to him differently is all -

Maybe Vontae is on Sparanos schedule? The rest of the team looks to have gotten the new mantra

When he is mouthing off to Brady I knew he would be a team prob... Last year when he called himself and Smith the best CB tandem I knew we were in trouble - I hope he pulls through I really do...

I don't think you sacrifice valuable reps just to coach somebody to be a backup or add versatility... It's kind of like taking Incognito out of the lineup to learn to be a long snapper...

Chemistry is CRUCIAL.. Coaches know it... They need to play together... Learn each other's nuances and tendencies... Truthfully I think Coyle is the new guy and he comes in here without any preconceived notions of what a player is or isn't... I think he wants to see for himself who fits where... So I think it really is more of an audition than your post suggests... With the added side benefit of motivating Davis...

I have no doubt Davis will be back in that spot but that is because he is better than Marshall... Not because he played there before... Sparano was afraid of his players, and coddled the vets... I hope this is a sign of a coaching staff that will play the best guy on Sunday. PERIOD.

I'm not worried about VD not playing. The only thing he has going against him is himself. Remember last year when he was cramping like crazy and getting in trouble for going out before games. If he has been "demoted" it could just be a slap on the wrist but I think the work Marshall is getting blown way out of proportion.
 
let the best man win, even if he is "demoted to nickel corner", with the way the league is nowadays he is going to play just about the same amount of snaps as SS and Marshall.
 
I got a feeling this is a little mind game stuff from the coaches.
 
all i know is richard marshall better look damn good if vontaes gonna sit for him if there's only 2 cbs on the field...damn good...
