Is Vontae struggling?

vontae is the last player im worried about on this team. I know what vontae can bring, sean smith is what i'd be worried about. Can sean smith finally bring out his a game this year?
 
My only ask of Vontae is to be in better playing shape than last year. From what I have seen/read that is already the case. Vontae has a chance to be elite. His brother has helped him realize that.
 
I'm not a psychologist but I saw where his brother, Michael, (not Vernon) was committed on mental grounds in a murder case. Vontae may have some difficulty focusing on training camp with his brother in trouble.
 
Is he giving up a huge 50 yard play like he does once every game?
 
Not true, he was like the top corner in football over the last 8 weeks of 2011. Just needs to stay focused for 16 games.
 
These crappy QB's are completing everything against this even more crappy secondary.

big cause for alarm.

The defense takes a step back this year post-Nolan. You heard it here first (though I said it 3 months ago)
