I mean I just do not see him in our plans. The wildcat will slowly fade away (maybe) in time...I just don't know about Pat White. He's a good player, don't get me wrong, it's just that (to me) he might be a bargaining chip - trade bait later on. It's just a gut feeling. I have no evidence this will happen. How about you? Do you have the same gut feeling about White?

we wasted a second on a trading chip? we are NOT getting a second back. so if what ur saying occurs than our FO is a bunch of jackasses

Wasted early round picks hurt a lot more than a heartbreaking loss.

it has a much more long-term lingering effect of PAIN.

lol

Can we just use every second rounder we have to trade up to high first? we waste them anyways.

EDIT- Not so much with Parcells, my bad. but definitely in the past... 3 out of 4 isnt bad.. Merling, Henne, Smith, and............ White.

How are Samson Satele and John Beck (07) Mat Roth (05) and Eddie Ware (03) doing for us?

Not sure what kind of bargain we could get right now. Or even down the road! But until he proves that he can pass in this league we aren't getting much for him!! But then again there is always Al Davis who seems to take alot of chances on players.

Yeah but what if they did so knowingly - that they were trade him later on. Or, White is not a part of our future, as of today (lately). Remember this is my gut feeling.

What has he done to make you feel this way. I haven't seen a damn thing from him to make me feel he's a good player, or even a single sign showing that he could eventually develop into one. The few times he has thrown the ball it's generally been horribly inaccurate.

So you're saying we screwed up with White? If so, I'm with ya. :hi5:

We definitely screwed up picking this bum.. The only one who would disagree is you know who.. ahhem. Rixon. ahhem

I haven't seen anything that would make me feel as I do. But still my gut, which is almost always on target, feels otherwise. It's just a feeling.

Too early to be calling White a bust - way early... Bad choice as a second rd selection however

I'd like to see the guy at reciever, I know he specifically said he wanted to be a QB in the NFL not a reciever but hey beggars can't be choosers.

You're not much of a bargaining chip if you have no value.

Whatever plans they had for White didn't pan out this year, and in the offseason they'll have to evaluate their path and decide how he can contribute. He was drafted in the second round because of his athleticism. I have to believe there is a place for a player with his unique abilities on this team.
