Is Wilford in Danger of being Released ?

Sorry he does have a Noodle Arm, I actually am looking forward to seeing him in a fin uni after his Pick 6s he tossed last year with the game on the line.

Bottomline is he does not have the arm to use the entire football field. I would call him Noodle Arm if he was in Buffalo just like I did when he was with the Jets.

You might want to look at yourself in the mirror before dogging on me. How many times did you call him "Noodle" when he played for the Jets. Now because he is on the Fins all of the sudden he has a cannon?

And about the Bills, they were sloppy during their game. I hoped Trent would have played much better, and he was outplayed but MR Potential in Losman and that does not make me happy. As well as the Run Blocking was horrible and well Peters Holdout could kill this season. But I was not asked about the Bills I was talking about what could be hurting some of your WRs with having to see a different QB every day in Practice.

I never called Pennington "noodle arm" NEVER! I hated the guy cause he was always good against us. The guy has a 65 % career completion %. Miami will run a passer friendly run heavy offense this year. A sytem I think will fit Chad game nicely. He's accurate and smart, just what Miami needs to improve on last year.

As for the Bills you do use a different scale for them and everyone else. How anyone could think the Bills are a playoff team or the second best team in the division is beyond me. The Bills and Dolphins are the same RIGHT NOW, we'll see how they seperate as the season moves on.

its early way to early kircus did have agreat catch and he did start with the big names that could be some indication

i dont think hagan looked all that bad, wilford looks terrible though. Lets give hagan a chance to catch with a qb who has some confidence (henne, noodle) before we kick him to the curb Some of beck's throws last night were just pitiful. He had that holding call but that's what happens when you ask a wide out to seal off in the trenches, unless its hines ward of course.
Ya i agree, Wilford was brought in for good hands and size and has shown nothing more than a 5th WR.

We're in rebuilding mode.. if the WR situation is this bad at the beginning of the season then I am sure Parcells will make a trade.

If you are NFL player, you are good enough to catch passes from ANYONE. Is there a time when a free agent receiver ponders which team he is goes to? "You know, I don't like the way Jason Campbell throws, I'll pass on the contract.." No. You cathc everything coming to you or around you. That's how you win a spot.

Now after seeing this game Wilford did nothing to impress me...Henne threw a great pass when he had pressure, put it on the outside shoulder like he should and Wilford drops it, that play stands out because of his height..others like the out pattern should have been caught too...the announcers thought the pass was too high but it wasn't, a pro should make catches like those as routine..

Doesn't sound to me like you've come here "in peace". No, not one bit. Don't you have a board of your own? :rolleyes2:

Surely, you'd rather reflect on the great history of the Buffalo Bills.....

L 20-19
L 37-24
L 52-17
L 30-13

.....then hang out here as we talk about our rebuilding franchise, right?

From what I am hearing from you all, I am glad Wilford decided to sign with you instead of coming up to Buffalo.

If things did not happen that way we would have Wilford instead of Hardy. I think I will take what we have right now.

In Wilfords defense though how much consitancy can you develop with a QB when tou are rotating all three in practices, Now you add Noodle Arm to the mix
james hardy > ernest wilford. would have love to have hardy instead of wilford if given the opportunity.

If there is a thread after the third game of the preseason in which Hagen and Wilford have done nothing then maybe I will be concerned. But this is early in the year. I would spend more time focusing on the depth of the offensive line.

Lee2000 The lines will determine the sucess of this team, especially with a game manager like Pennington.

Man, Sparano tore him a new one after the dropp. He was screaming at him all the way to the bench. Nat mentioned it to the announcers.

He had some choice words for Jake Long on his 5 yard penalty as well. I wouldn't read too much into his profanity.

You gotta love that, I love it when a coach tears a new one. Cam and Wanny were so soft. They would never do something like that. His Parcells side defitnetly came out last night.
