Is Zach Thomas a Hall of Famer??

I am curious to see what this forum thinks. I for one believe he is. What is your opinion?
 
I think he is awesome, great story of a supposed "undersized guy", great for the Dolphins... but might fall short of the Hall of Fame.
 
No. One of the best Dolphins of his era - Hall of Very Good but not enough success to make the Hall of Fame if we're really honest.
 
I will post on this one as well. I think Zach is a HOFer, but unfortunately he will have to wait. the guy has more tackles than in lb's in the HOF.
 
I always define a HOF by how dominant they were during their playing years. Zach either led the league in tackles or was near the top almost every year as a Fin.
He was the heart of the team, and a presence that other teams planned to avoid. Give me two other LB's during his era that will make the HOF (Ray Lewis, has the rings) and Brian Urlacher.
Urlacher will make the hall because he played in a bigger market, period. Zach is just as good if not better that Urlacher.

So in short: Should he get in? Yes. But will he get in? No.
 
He is 3rd in the NFL for most tackles of all time. HELL YEAH. I would kill for another player in his mold.he never missed tackles . Side to side, one step ahead. Great player.

His stats match pretty well Urlacher and Ray Lewis who are probable HOFers...He should get in, but it hurts that he was not the same level of NFL icon as those guys were.

The only thing Ray Lewis had that ZT didn't was the big mouth. If Lewis and Urlacher get in, ZT should get in.
